2). Updating a standard configuration for several releases at once (8.2) Updating release 1c 8 2

Very often, various third-party specialists who are not professionally associated with 1C (system administrators, accountants, etc.) ask me for advice on updating 1C configurations. “How to update the 1C configuration”, “How to update 1C through the configurator” - they all ask the same question in different ways. Therefore, I decided to write this article so as not to explain the same thing every time, but to refer them all to it =)
Most modern configurations support automatic updating of the 1C database via the Internet directly from user mode. This is convenient, but has a number of limitations. The main limitation is the Internet. Firstly, it must be, and secondly, it must be fast enough. It doesn't always happen like this. In addition, very often, users forget or are lazy to update configurations, and many missed releases accumulate. As a result, updating them via the Internet can take a long time.
This article will focus on how to update configurations yourself “manually”.

Downloading 1C updates

Let's say you have a 1C: Enterprise Accounting 3.0 configuration, with the following current release

We need to update it to the latest release.
To do this, you need to go to the website https://users.v8.1c.ru/, which is the official 1C website where configuration updates are contained, and click on the “download updates” hyperlink

After this, you enter your username and password, which was created when registering your software product.
And if everything is in order with your ITS subscription and registration (for owners of the basic version, an ITS subscription is not required), then a window similar to this will open:

Where you find your configuration and click the appropriate hyperlink. A table will appear containing all configuration updates up to the latest release.

The current release of our configuration is 3.0.49.20 (see first picture). Here he is fifth from the top on the list.

Those. we have already missed the 4th release: 3.0.49.21, 3.0.49.22, 3.0.49.23, 3.0.49.27.
The hottest heads will rush to download all these releases and update them step by step. But we are lazy people, so let's look at the far right column, which indicates which versions can be updated with the release from the far left column. As you can see, there are a lot of them, and if we look for our current release in the far right column, we will see that it is there for all updates.

Those. we don’t need to download all releases, but just download the latest one, and our current configuration is quite normal to update to it.
After we “fail” into the release link, there will be a window with links to update distributions.

Please note that very often this window indicates the platform release with which your updated configuration will work stably. If the release of your platform is older than this release, then you need to update it.
Download the required distribution to your hard drive.
This distribution will be in the form of a self-extracting archive

Installing the 1C update template

Unpack it, and a list of files will appear in your directory, among which we are only interested in one file, setup.exe

After launching it, the update template installation window will appear.

In this window, you basically don’t need to change anything; click the “Next” button and install the update template.

We update the 1C configuration

After installing the template, you need to open and go to update the configuration in the following path: Menu - Configuration - Support - Update configuration.

Be sure to save your database before updating!

A configuration update window will appear, where you should click all “Next” until you reach the very end.

If you did everything correctly, then your release number, which you downloaded from the site https://users.v8.1c.ru/, will appear in this list of updates.
Select it with the mouse, and the “Done” button will become active

Feel free to press this button, after which information about the update will appear

Click the “Continue update” button. And after some time, a window will appear showing your current release and the release to which your configuration will be updated.

If you see this window, then everything has been done correctly, and you have downloaded the required release to which you can update your configuration. Click “OK” and enjoy the update.
At some point, a window will appear asking you to update the database configuration.

We agree.
In the window where there will be information about data reorganization, click the “Accept” button.

Everything with the configurator! Your configuration has been updated, and to complete the update you need to launch 1C: Enterprise. You can do this through debugging, or you can simply close the configurator and launch 1C: Enterprise in a separate session in user mode.
In user mode, you will need to confirm the legality of the update (for owners of PRO versions), after confirmation the database will be updated.

If everything goes well and no errors occur during the database update process, then you will have a 1C configuration with the new release.

If you missed many releases, you can try updating the 1C configuration using a cf file. How to do this, read my article:

1C Programmer or 1C Franchisee, what to choose?

Currently, almost every company uses some kind of 1C configuration. The most popular and best-selling today are “Enterprise Accounting”, “Salaries and Personnel”, “Salaries and Personnel Management”, “Trade Management”, “Manufacturing Enterprise Management”, “Retail” and others. Since these programs are very popular, they 1C programmer services for the implementation of configurations and their modification, as well as monthly updates and subsequent maintenance, are also very popular. For the 1C services you need, you can contact:

  1. TO 1C programmer- to a private individual, individual entrepreneur or organization that provides 1C services, but does not work under a franchise agreement with the 1C company.
  2. To any franchise company, that is, a company that works with the 1C company under a franchise agreement.

Why should you choose the services of 1C programmers in Moscow from us?

Our company provides more favorable conditions for cooperation, in particular on services of 1C programmers in Moscow than any other company, and now you can verify this by reading the facts below:

  1. We have the lowest price per hour of work 1C programmer.
  2. The quality and speed of work is higher than that of most companies whose rates exceed RUB 1,800 per hour, which means you have already save more than 30% !
  3. Individual approach to each client, we will advise and help for FREE in any situation.
  4. Instant response to your application, in the shortest possible time you will have all the necessary information.
  5. We provide a complete and detailed assessment of the work, as well as detailed technical specifications.
  6. Our company works in such a way that you know in advance and imagine a ready-made solution to your problem.

The services of experienced 1C programmers are always relevant

Currently 1C programmer services are very popular, this is due to the diverse needs of clients, let’s consider some of them:

  • If your company is not very small, then the basic functionality of the 1C configuration will most likely need to be expanded, because all organizations are different and each has its own nuances in accounting, so such companies need their own modifications in the 1C program.
  • After you order any modifications and 1C programmer makes the necessary changes to the database, the database immediately becomes non-standard. This means that the average user himself will not be able to correctly update 1C, because there will no longer be an automatic program update mode.
  • Savings are important for every client, which is why one of the key points here is the price per 1C programmer services.

Our company pays great attention to all these and many other wishes of the client under the program, which is why we are recommended to others!

Private programmer for regular clients

When a client orders a large amount of work, it is usually presented in the form of a project. When a company constantly orders from us 1C programmer services or design work, then she wants to work with one 1C programmer or with a permanent team of developers, because the timing and success of the work depends on this, and people get along well and get used to working in “their” team. Our company meets its clients and tries, whenever possible, to provide each company with its own private 1C programmer.

Cost of an hour for a 1C programmer and why you should choose us

The right column of the table below shows the average price cost per hour for a 1C programmer in various franchisees:

  1. We offer the best prices for 1C services. Even in the cheapest franchisee cost of programmer work for 1 hour starts from 2000 rubles. Our prices start from 1200 rubles per 1 hour.
  2. The minimum paid work time in our company is 2 hours, subject to travel 1C programmer to you and 1 hour when working remotely. In franchise companies, the minimum time for a specialist to visit is on average more than 2.5 hours, and for remote service – 1 hour.
  3. We provide good discounts for large volumes.
  4. We know for sure that we have excellent specialists, professionals in their field, who will cope with the task quickly and efficiently. It is beneficial for our employees to quickly and efficiently serve the maximum number of clients so that there are no complaints about their work. You won't have to pay for extra hours of work!

To ensure data integrity and consistency, all users must shut down the information base while creating a backup copy and updating the configuration.

Here you can also choose one of three ways to check for updates on the 1C website:

● Disabled (in this case, the update will not be checked, suitable if you plan to manually install updates)

● When you start the program (checking for updates on the 1C website will be done every time you start the program).

● According to a specified schedule (you must set a schedule for checking for updates on the 1C website).

5. Click on “Software Update”

If there is an update available on the user site, the system reports the version number, a brief description, the size of the update and offers to install it. (Fig. 5)

Fig 3.3

I’ll say right away that the described method has its pitfalls, so before using it, I advise you to read the article to the end. If you have the Internet and access to the user section of the 1C website, and your configuration is “native” from 1C and it has the “Update Configuration” processing (see the Service menu), use it and update the configuration via the Internet. It will be both simpler and more reliable (although hardly faster).

Update processing is definitely available in the “Enterprise Accounting” configuration ed. 2.0, as well as in a somewhat stripped-down version - in UPP ed. 1.3 (located in the “Online user support” submenu of the Service menu). These treatments contain information, and it is quite detailed. I can’t say for sure about other configurations from 1C, but I suspect that similar processing is present in them. Try using them to update the configuration via the Internet and return to this article if you fail.

The article does not consider issues of transition to a new edition of the standard configuration, as well as other complex cases. They have been successfully described by colleagues who are more experienced in these matters, so if your case is complex, go here: (it’s also worth reading the comments). Well, this article describes the process of updating a not very neglected configuration, but in as much detail as possible and with comments.

So, what to do if you don’t have Internet/access to the 1C website, but still have a desire to save time and simplify your life? Even in this case, you can cheat and not install all the updates sequentially. To do this, you need to be able to one way or another obtain the vendor configuration from another database that has already been updated to the (obviously latest) release you are interested in.

Uploading the vendor configuration, or “where can I get a new configuration?”

  1. Sometimes it happens that you or your colleagues previously installed a “full” installation kit of a new configuration for yourself, and the distribution package was then safely lost. No problem: open the templates directory (usually it is located here: " C:\Users\ YourUserNameWindows\AppData\Roaming\1C\1Cv82\tmplts"), and in the appropriate subfolder (for example, " 1c\Accounting\2_0_47_5" ) find the file 1Cv8.cf from the configuration version you need. Don't confuse it with .cfu, it won't suit you. If you couldn't find the .cf file in the templates folder, then you're out of luck - you had an update distribution package, and not a complete installation kit.
  2. If we couldn’t find the supplier’s ready-made .cf configuration, we try to find it from ourselves or from friends base the configuration you need. It may not be standard, but it should be correctly updated to the release you need.
  3. In the configurator, through the menu “Configuration - Support - Support Settings”, we check the version number of the vendor configuration. If the version is suitable, then directly from there, click the “Save to file” button to upload the .cf file - this is what we need.

Using the method described above, you will download exactly the TYPICAL configuration of the main supplier from any database, and exactly the version that is indicated in the support settings window (see the article “Support Settings” with ITS). If the database is with friends, then ask them to download the supplier’s configuration (you can dictate it), and send the resulting .cf to you by carrier pigeon.

If there is absolutely no way to find a ready-made configuration, we look for the most recent distribution (installation version of the configuration). Distributions are available on ITS partner disks or installation disks included in the configuration package, so the most recent distribution is easiest to find from someone who recently purchased the program, or from a franchisee. We install the found distribution kit on our computer. and create a new one database based on a template from this distribution ( NOT demo, because We don't need data from the demo!).

If the distribution was installed, but was then “lost”, the files you need can still be found. How to do this - see above (item 1 in the list). In the folder with the configuration template, look for the file 1Cv8new.dt - this is an archive of the empty database of the corresponding release. If found, then creating a new information base no configuration, open it with the Configurator and expand the found archive into it1Cv8new.dt (menu “Administration - Load information base”).

Then:

  • Find and install on your computer later updates configurations. It's easier to install them all, because... the update mechanism itself will then prompt you to skip those releases that may be missed. But you can also follow the advice from and create a chain of the necessary releases yourself, and then install only them.
  • We open an empty database in the configurator and begin to sequentially apply updates to it through the menu “Configuration - Support - Update configuration - Search for available updates.”
  • We DO NOT update the information base (there is no need to waste time on this, since our database is empty).
  • At the end of the process, we upload the .cf nickname of the final configuration of the supplier ( “Configuration - Support - Support settings - Save to file”, at the same time we will check the version). We will use it to update the working database.

Performing an update using provider configuration

Option using “Configuration update” processing

We open the database in enterprise mode and start processing. We select the method of receiving updates “Local or network directory”, on the next page we indicate the path to the resulting .cf file. Next, we agree to everything, and in case of doubt, feel free to use the certificate (let me remind you, it is very detailed).

The processing itself will create a backup copy for you, update the configuration and check the result of the update, and in case of an error, it will automatically restore the database to its original state. The location where the backup is saved is configured separately: by default, a temporary copy is created, which is deleted after a successful update, but I would recommend specifying your own saving path.

Option using the configurator

  1. We update the platform if necessary
  2. In the configurator, open the database that needs to be updated.
  3. We make a backup copy (menu “Administration - Upload infobase”).
  4. Through the menu “Configuration - Support - Update configuration - Select update file” we indicate the path to our .cf nickname with the latest release of the vendor configuration.
  5. We update the configuration.
  6. We agree to update the information base
  7. Please read the list of changes carefully before accepting them! If in doubt, reject it!
  8. Open the database in enterprise mode.
  9. We agree to everything and wait for the update to be processed.
  10. We check that database update processing starts and completes without errors, sequentially from the original release to the current one.
  11. We carefully read service messages!
  12. If everything went well, we are happy.

I was thus able to update the power supply configuration from release 2.0.22.1 to 2.0.32.4 and then via .cfu to 2.0.32.6. File database, platform 8.2.15.289. The result satisfied everyone; the update (via the configurator) took less than five minutes.

Alternative methods for quickly updating the standard database - such as removing support and loading .cf - do not work any faster (tested personally with a stopwatch), and require more unnecessary movements, so I will not recommend them.

ATTENTION!

If during such an update we skip a key release in which any metadata objects were removed or replaced, there is a risk of data loss. In particularly critical cases, it is advisable to double-check yourself through comparison and merging and, in case of the slightest doubt, update using the classical method (at least until the latest key release), not forgetting to run the database in enterprise mode after each update and carefully monitor the progress of information security update processing.

P.S. There is information that after such an update someone had problems with further updating the database via .cfu.

I suspect that the database was simply broken, but to be more reliable, you can create a .cf nickname before latest release and update the database to it. Then separately update to the latest release via .cfu and personally make sure that the database is updated safely. However, in my opinion, given such concerns, one should not use such “accelerating” techniques at all.))

Good luck with your work!

Sincerely yours, Vladislav Rozhevsky (St. Petersburg, 2013)

New 1C releases come out once a week. Update in a timely manner and always keep your databases up to date!

1C technology platforms.

Typical configurations.

The 1C company is constantly developing its software solutions. For each program, key updates are released at least once a month.

In order to find out what platform release and configuration you have (if you don’t know what a platform and configuration is, look at this video),

open the program in “Configurator” or “1C Enterprise” mode and click this sign in the top menu.

A window like this will open.

At the top we read the number of your platform release, just below the configuration number.

Changes to the number in the last register of the release number are not so important. Although, here we also need to make sure that there is not a big gap, especially in platform releases. You need to pay special attention to the following register. If it changes and you have discrepancies, you must update.

We publish information on this page for our clients. If you have not found the name of your 1C program, call us and we will include it in this table.
