  • If you have as on option 3 - a replacement is necessary. The time through which the thermal pad material can come to such a state depends on the material itself, on average after about 3-4 years, although it can after 1 year. Even if the cooling system is cleaned from dust and thermal paste is replaced, heating the chip on which such thermal padding is located can be 10 - 30 degrees higher than with a working one, and this difference is enough for the laptop to fail prematurely.

The third reason for overheating: Launch of modern, demanding games: Demanding games and programs heavily load the processor, which is very hot under load.
