Did you enter your login correctly? Maybe he typed in Russian letters, but in English? Then go to that mailbox - a link to reset your password will be sent there. And if you no longer have access to an additional mailbox, click "I do not have access to the specified mailboxes."
- Send password recovery code to mobile phone number - the most convenient way. If your page is linked to a mobile phone, select its number and click “Receive code by SMS”. An SMS with a secret code will be sent to the phone. Enter it on the page, and you can immediately set a new password. If the phone is no longer there, press "I do not have access to the specified phones" and choose another way.

When you create a new password, be sure to remember it. And if your page was not linked to a mobile phone, do it right away. Then you can easily restore access via SMS, if necessary.

Clear cache, cookies (temporary files) in the browser

You only need to register if you do not have a mailbox in Maila yet. After all, registration is creating a new email with a new address. If you already have a mailbox, you do not need to register!
1 . Open a new tab, type mail.ru in the address bar and press Enter on your keyboard.
3. Fill in each field of the questionnaire.
Name. Type your name.
Surname. Type your last name.
Date of Birth . Indicate the date, month and year of your birth.
Gender. Select gender - male or female.
Desired mailing address... In this line you need to print the name for your future mailbox. You can use both letters and numbers, as well as period, underscore, or hyphen. But the letters must be typed in the Latin alphabet, because all addresses on the Internet are only in English.
Pay attention to the ending of the address. Initially, it is @ mail.ru, but you can choose another: @ inbox.ru, @ list.ru or @ bk.ru.
Password. Here you need to type the code with which you will open your mailbox. It must contain English letters and numbers. At least six and no spaces.
Password confirmation... In this line you need to print the same code as in the previous field.
Phone . Here the site asks to print your mobile number. This is optional, but I highly recommend specifying it. After all, if there are problems with access to the box, the easiest way to restore it will be through the phone.

Learning to use an e-mail box

How to send a letter
To write and send a letter, click on the button that says "Write a letter" in the upper left corner.
A new page will load. On the "To" line, type the email address of the person you want to write the letter to.
On a note . All Internet addresses are composed of letters of the Latin alphabet (English). There is an @ sign in the middle, followed by a postal site. There is no dot at the end. Example: [email protected]
In the line "Subject" type the subject of the letter, that is, briefly say what it is about or from whom. You can print a topic in Russian letters.
The text of the letter is printed in a large white field. If there is a lot of text, this field will automatically expand (a slider will appear on the side).
After you fill in the required lines, press the "Submit" button once and wait a few seconds. If everything is in order, the page with the inscription "Your letter has been sent" will load. A copy of the letter will remain in the Sent Items folder.
How to send a file
To send a photo or a document, you need to do the same thing as for a regular email. Namely, fill in the "To", "Subject" fields and print the text of the letter.
But just before clicking the "Submit" button, you need to add the file inside. To do this, click on the inscription "Attach a file" (under the line "Subject").
A small window will appear. Find the photo, document or other file that you want to send in it and double-click on it with the left mouse button.
The window will disappear, and the letter will show the file that you added.
Mail.ru does not open - what to do?
Check if it opens on other devices: on your phone, on another computer. If it opens, then the problem is on your side - most likely, it's a virus.
If Mile does not open anywhere, then in this case we are talking about blocking it.

Why won't my mail open
There are three reasons why a person cannot get into his box:
- Invalid login

- Mailbox deleted or locked

Invalid login... Each mailbox has a login. This is his unique identifier on the mail site. Using it, the site can identify you and open your mailbox, and not someone else's.
Login always consists of English letters and / or numbers. It can contain a period as well as a hyphen. And from this login, the name of the box is formed.
To enter your mailbox, you need to correctly type the login from it. You cannot be mistaken in any letter, number or symbol!
For example, my login is ivan.petrov-35. And if I typed ivan.petrov35 instead, then my email won't open - an error will be thrown.
In addition, on some mail sites, it is important not only to make a mistake in the login, but also in the ending - the part that comes after the @ sign.
This applies to everyone's favorite site Mile.ru. There, the end of the box can be either the standard mail.ru, or another: bk.ru, list.ru or inbox.ru.
For example, I have a box on Mile [email protected] ... This means, in addition to the correct spelling of the login, you also need to choose the correct ending. Otherwise, I won't be able to get into my mailbox - the site will give an error.
Wrong password... The password is the key to the box. A set of letters and / or numbers used to open the box. If you make a mistake in at least one character, the password will not work. The site will give an error.
If the password contains letters, then they are typed only in English.
Also, the password is case sensitive. This means that if it contains a large letter, and you typed it in a small (lowercase) letter, then such a password will not work.
Mailbox deleted or locked... It happens that you can't get into the mailbox because it has been deleted from the mail site. That is, it was simply erased along with all the letters.
This usually happens when the box has not been used for a long time. For example, if the mailbox was on the Mail.ru website and you haven't entered it for six months, according to the mail.ru rules, it can be deleted.
What to do if mail won't open
1 . Open "Notepad", type there the password from the box, copy it and paste it on the site.
To do this, go to "Start", type Notepad in the search bar and open the program.
A window for printing text will open. Here we print the password.
Select it and copy it. To do this, move the cursor to the end of the password, hold down the left mouse button and circle it. Then we right-click inside and select "Copy".
This simple procedure will help you not to make a mistake when entering your password. After all, on the site it is typed in dots, so it is difficult to spot an error.
2. Try different login options.
As I said, a login is a unique identifier for a mailbox on a mail site. If you enter only one incorrect letter, the system will not be able to identify the box, and therefore will not be able to open it.
Often people do not make mistakes in the spelling of a login, but rather describe themselves. For example, a person has a box called [email protected] ... And he type the login yan.ivanov. This is mistake. Even if the password is typed correctly, the mailbox will not open.
By the way, the login, unlike the password, is not case sensitive. That is, you can type it in letters of any size. Big, small, big and small - whatever, it doesn't matter.
3. Use the password recovery function.
Mail sites allow you to restore access to your mailbox. The system will ask several questions about your mail and if you answer correctly, it will ask you to enter a new password. The box will open immediately after that. From now on it will be available with a new password.

It happens that you remember the password, but you forgot the mailbox address. But the address, that is, the login on the mail site, is the main thing. Without it, it will not be possible to restore access to the mailbox.
You can try to find out the login using a browser - the program through which you access the Internet. To do this, simply double-click on the field for entering the name of the box with the left mouse button. If you're lucky, a list will appear where, among other things, your username can be written.
Another way to find out the name of a forgotten mailbox is to contact the person to whom you sent letters from it. If he has at least one letter from you, ask him to say what is written there in the address line. To do this, you need to open the letter and look at the line under the letter head (at the top of it).
If the site writes that the mailbox does not exist
It happens that when trying to recover the password, the mail site writes that the mailbox does not exist or there is no such account.
There are two reasons why this happens:
- You made a mistake typing your login.
- The box has been deleted.
The first reason is clear. The mailbox address is typed incorrectly and there really is no such login in the system. You just need to enter it correctly.
But if you are sure that the login is correct, and the site still shows that such mail does not exist, then the mailbox has been deleted. You can delete a mailbox yourself in your mail settings. Or it can happen automatically.
On some mail sites, this happens if the mailbox is not used for a long time. For example, if you have not entered your mail on mail.ru for more than six months, it can be deleted.
The box is deleted along with all its contents. You can return it, but without the letters. To do this, you need to re-register the mail with the same login.

The interface of the home page is simple and completely understandable for a Russian-speaking user. The page is visually divided into 8 main blocks:

IN first block the user gets access to the mailbox and all services of the company. Here you can also send a request for password recovery or create a mailbox.

Below is displayed current weather in the user's city, weather forecast, exchange rates and daily horoscope.
My page on the portal
To enter the so-called "My page" in the field "email" you need to enter your email address, select a domain from the drop-down list.
In addition to @ mail.ru, the following are available equivalent to the main one domains:
- @ inbox.ru
- @ list.ru
- @ bk.ru
The user fills in the "password" field. The client's personal account opens. Default user hits the tab "Letters" to the "Inbox" folder, where all received messages are stored, which are displayed in the right half of the page. New mail is usually checked immediately. Unread letters are highlighted in color.
Above the list of letters are control buttons... At the request of the owner of the box:
- Deletes the message
- Highlights all read / unread emails
- Removes / adds selection
- Moves a message to another folder
- Forwards to another addressee
- Marks the desired messages
- Move to archive
Actions can be combined, i.e. first select several letters, then send them to the archive or delete. Deleting letters is reversible, they can be restored from the "Trash" folder, if it has not been emptied.

Navigation and control of letters is carried out using the "hot keys":

- "Inbox", where the user goes when entering the mailbox;
- "Sent Items" - correspondence sent by the owner of the box;
- "Drafts", where unfinished messages are stored;
- For letters received a long time ago, there is an "archive" folder;
- "Spam", where advertising materials are sent;
- Trash is a temporary storage for deleted messages.
The button "Write a letter" is responsible for generating a new message.
From the last two folders, the user regularly deletes unnecessary messages, for which there is an inscription "clear" next to it.

The " Contacts»Is an address book, which lists all addresses with which the owner of the mailbox corresponded. The " Files»Contains all documents sent to the email address. Item " More»Allows you to change the appearance and design, contains help and mail news.
The top line contains access to mail.ru projects as a registered user. All services are provided free of charge, however certain functions may be available for a fee.
