Diary Ratings

How to find out why and when a rating is given?

When you hover your mouse over the cell with the grade in the diary, a tooltip is displayed that contains the name of the control form and the time it was set.

What are the priorities for grades for different tasks when calculating grades for intermediate certification?

The points earned for verification or control work are of great importance.
  Grades for class work and answers at the blackboard are considered less significant. The results of homework do not have much weight at all, since when they are carried out the child has the opportunity to use additional materials and outside help.

What is the point in the diary?

A dot means work arrears or a need for redeployment. It can also serve as a reminder of the work that is planned in the future. When a point is marked, the teacher sets the period of action on his own, after which the point either turns into an assessment or disappears. At the end of the certification period, the point automatically turns into an assessment, if it was put down, or disappears.

What is the point next to the rating?

In the diary, several ratings can be set and next to them there can be a mark - “dot”. When you hover over this mark, the name of the type of work for which it was set will be displayed - for example, an oral answer. This means that the teacher noted the debt for the answer on the topic and indicates the intention to ask the student again or do the work again.

How do grades for intermediate certification?

Summarize all grades obtained for homework, and calculate the total result. In the same way, calculate the average grade for classwork. If the results of classroom and homework coincide, we can assume that this is an objective assessment of student knowledge. If the score for classwork is higher or lower than for homework, it should be considered its priority. Count and evaluate the overall result of the tests. If it coincides with the grade for homework and / or class work, it should be considered a quarter total. If points for tests are higher or lower, priority is given to points for tests.

Diary Features

How to find out the mode of stay of the child?

The Guide “Stay mode” includes: a schedule of calls, a lesson plan for an after-school activity plan, a work schedule for children’s associations (additional education), a mode of physical activity, a diet, and a walk mode.
  The list of classes indicated separately identifies changes and dynamic pauses intended for students to relax and move from room to room. The changes may additionally indicate the name of the meal break - breakfast or lunch.

How to control the weight of textbooks in a child’s portfolio?

In order to familiarize yourself with the contents of a student’s backpack for each day of the school week, you must go to the “Diary” section through the “Diary” menu item. The benefits of using the school portal

The main advantages of the school portal on the website of State Services are the following:

  • functionality. The portal system can be completely customized for you initially. Some tabs are easily removed if you do not need them at the moment;
  • full control over the child. Children do not always tell the truth about their grades and behavior at school, which can then result in unpredictable circumstances;
  • the appearance of the program corresponds to the usual paper analogue of the school diary and magazine;
  • high response speed to requests when using the portal;
  • constantly updating the database. Each teacher immediately after class should enter changes in the electronic journal;
  • a system of change alerts on the school portal is designed so that you do not need to constantly check for updates. An electronic journal on the State Service portal allows you to instantly learn about student performance.

From the beginning of the school year, requests from parents who write: “I can’t get into, I can’t or can’t get into the diary, wrote the wrong password,” became more frequent.

There are a lot of such letters, so we tried to draw up detailed instructions on how to enter the electronic diary, as well as answer the most frequently asked questions of concerned parents. Also see the video instruction. Access to EZD needs to be done through on the site Mos.ru.

The problem of entering the electronic diary is associated with the planned transition of all schools to an electronic system of interaction between parents, teachers and students.

The project, a new electronic magazine in Moscow in 2020, covered all the schools in the capital. From September 1, 2017 until December 31, 2018, practically all municipal schools in Moscow were transferred. Subsequently, it was decided to transfer all schools of the Russian Federation to the EZD system.

Quick article navigation:

Why can not I enter the electronic diary through public services 2020?

Even those parents who remember the password and did not lose their login, with the beginning of the new school year, cannot enter the electronic diary through public services on mos.ru and on the site dnevnik.mos.ru The following inscription appears on the first site:

  • “Dear users, technical work is being carried out on the system servers. We apologize for the temporary inconvenience. Full system performance will be restored in the near future. ” This inscription hangs for most of September. Since the beginning of October, the situation has changed a bit and now the inscription appears:
  • “Dear class teachers! Pay attention to the new private message from the Administration in your journal. We ask you to carefully familiarize yourself with the authorization procedure for students and parents, and with the algorithm of your actions in case they have problems accessing the diary through mos.ru »

Entrance to the electronic diary is not available not only to parents and teachers, but sometimes to schoolchildren who cannot receive assignments in a timely manner or follow the lesson schedule.

Electronic diary of pgu.mos.ru - difficulties for teachers

Those teachers who duplicated entries in an electronic diary or EZD with entries in ordinary paper diaries and magazines turned out to be right.

Pupils enter tasks with their own hands, monitor the accuracy of filling the pages, can show the diary to their parents, and let the system improve for now.

The class teachers of almost all schools in the capital all the beginning of the school year are busy sending their parents instructions on how to enter the EZD - a new electronic diary that is starting to work everywhere. Often these instructions are incorrect, as they are immediately replaced by others. Here you can find instructions on how to fill out EZD and how to work with them: https://help.dnevnik.ru/

Entrance to the EZD electronic diary - problems for parents

Most parents experience irritation and panic due to the lack of thought of the system, due to constantly changing requirements.

EZD electronic diary 2020 - parent reviews

Here’s what the seventh-grade mother of one of Moscow’s schools says about the new EZD:

  • “Since the end of August, they have been trying to explain to us how to use the new electronic diary. At first they said to look for old passwords in which there were a lot of characters. They were given to us three years ago. They found it with difficulty, put it in - nothing works. We can’t check whether this password is correct or not. We go to the site diary.mos.ru, it says that technical work is being carried out or that the site is unavailable for technical reasons. Yesterday we went in - there is an empty grid in which the days of the week are written and that’s all. ”

And here is the opinion of the parents of the fifth grader who just returned from the parent meeting, which was held due to a general misunderstanding, how to use the new electronic diary:

  • “At the meeting we were told that gradually the problems will disappear, that anyway we will have to learn how to use this electronic system. But it is not clear why it is necessary to constantly change requirements, to update an already difficult system? Yes, and it was enough time to approve the new provisions, three months of vacation behind, what the organizers of this project were only thinking about? I still can’t enter my daughter’s electronic diary, but how can I check and evaluate my lessons? It’s an old fashioned way to call a teacher and find out assignments from classmates by phone. ”

EZD, electronic diary, electronic journal - how it was

An electronic diary at school is no longer news, the first such diaries appeared back in 2014, when the head of the Moscow Department of Education, I. Kalina, said that the city had made its choice, and it could not be changed.

“We are working in state educational institutions. I ask you not to forget this. The choice is made by the city. All that you think you need to make useful in the selected magazine, - offer, ”- such a speech was made by the head.

The first electronic diaries on the Nachalka website

However, as early as 6 years ago, all students in Moscow's elementary school had to register on the Nachalka website, which was also quite difficult. Especially when you consider that the parents of first-graders are inexperienced people, worried about every occasion. But nothing, they got used to it, by the end of the year almost everyone had already connected to this system, having understood the appearances and passwords.

"Electronic Journal" on the site "eljur.ru"

But for the next academic year, "Starter" was closed, and all students were connected to the "Electronic Journal" system on the site "eljur.ru".

This magazine was recognized as the most convenient, because even the most “non-advanced” parents managed to connect to it by the New Year. Teachers could send messages, connect SMS.

MRCO electronic diary

Since 2014, Moscow schools have been forcibly transferred to the new system of electronic journal MRCO. Which in translation means the Moscow Register of Education Quality. Login was required on the public services portal pgu.mos.ru. Both parents and students had to register here.

Seeing homework and grades has become even more inconvenient. Some schools were so outraged that they filed a petition with the Department of Education. In fact, this is unheard of in the metropolitan area. The petition was sent in protest against the forced connection of schools to the EZD system. She appeared on Change.org

Here is what the petition said:

  • “We demand an end to administrative pressure on schools. To provide an opportunity for an educational institution to independently choose a system for maintaining an electronic journal and an electronic diary. Many schools, under pressure from higher authorities, were forced to switch to the use of a unified system of multidisciplinary control systems. In most cases, this system simply does not work: “Instead of preparing for lessons, teachers are forced to enter information at night into an uncomfortable system that constantly disappears”
  • “Parents cannot keep in touch with the school and teachers through an electronic journal. And also use the usual services available in other systems. For example, performance alerts via email and SMS. Moreover, MRCO does not meet the requirements of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation for electronic journals and diaries. And it doesn’t make it possible to fully receive the corresponding electronic service, since there is no information on the topics of the lessons held in the electronic diary of MRCO, ”the petition said.

What ended the debate about switching to EZD

All parents were again given passwords to enter the system. The classroom leaders again began to send out instructions and meticulously explain to the most ignorant how to use the public services portal.

But even the most competent parents, who constantly use the Internet and work as IT specialists, often cannot figure out all the nuances of entering a login, password, asking where to enter numbers and how to use an electronic diary and journal. For these three years, however, almost everyone has become accustomed to the fact that in order to find out the home, you can spend half an evening. That EZD often hangs, disappears, information can either disappear or appear.

Teachers also complain that they now have to spend all evenings filling out the graph in EZD, but you get used to everything, and you are used to it.

Now, change is coming again. And I want the Department of Education to take into account the requests of parents. He also listened to teachers who want to stop at something, get used to a single system. What interfered, for example, with ordinary paper diaries, where did the children carefully write the task? And where each parent without a password and login could read the teacher’s comments, subscribe, find out what was asked for tomorrow. Moreover, it was absolutely free. No nerves, time and millions of rubles were spent on the introduction of more and more new projects. Indeed, now the entire first quarter of each academic year is spent on figuring out how to enter the electronic diary. How to easily learn basic information that was previously accessible and understandable to everyone.

The modern school differs in its capabilities from those in which the mothers and fathers of today's children studied. Interactive whiteboards, computers, the Internet, media resources, and electronic diaries have become the practice of most schools in Russia. The latter will be discussed here.

In Russia, there are several functional services that provide schools and students with this service. In Moscow and the Moscow region there is an electronic diary of MRCO (Moscow Register of Education Quality) on the Moscow State Pedagogical University portal, since 2015 all Moscow schools and most of the region have been connected to it.

In other regions of Russia they use the service Diary.ru. and Elzhur (eljur.ru.). Between these services there is some difference in design, the number of functions available to users, but they all have common features:

  • Using them is free.
  • It does not require the provision of certificates or other documents.
  • Valid throughout the entire period of study at school.
  • Belongs to one child, records his grades, attendance, etc.
  • Access to it is granted only to the student and his parents (legal representatives of the child). No one else sees the teacher’s ratings and entries in this diary. The personal data of the child is protected.

Access to the electronic diary is provided by an individual login and a temporary password, which gives the parents a class teacher. But in Moscow and the Moscow Region, to use it, parents need to be registered on the portal of Moscow State Pedagogical University, where they need to enter the “Education, Study” service and then to the necessary service.

In the diary.ru through the portal of public services may include residents of the Tambov region. For all other schoolchildren in Russia, this service does not yet have a connection with the public service portal.

For residents of Moscow, Moscow and Tambov regions need:

  • When registering on the State Services portal, enter your personal data, including passport data, SNILS number. The introduction of the SNILS number should be treated with particular care, since it will become your main identifier on this portal.
  • After registration, enter the system and find the desired service, enter it. For Diary.ru you need your profile to be already activated there. For the MRCO diary, the system will automatically redirect it to the authorization page.

After registering and creating your personal account on the portal, you can enter the electronic diary through it.

How to enter the electronic diary, step by step instructions

Here we’ll look at how parents can enter the school’s electronic diary, regardless of whether this happens through the Moscow State Pedagogical University or directly Diary RU. Although there are certain differences, the general principles of the steps coincide.

  • Enter the login and password given by the class teacher in the appropriate fields Login and Password.

  • We enter and / or verify personal data. Click "Finish" (Next). For Moscow, this all ends and you get into the personal account of the parent.

  • In Diary.ru you have to fill in the “Security Settings”, where you specify the email address and mobile phone number that will allow you to restore the password in case of loss and provide better protection.

  • After the first entrance to the pages of Diary.ru, you get the opportunity to change the password given at school to another of your choice.
  • Both in the MRCO diary and in Diary.ru there is a possibility for a parent in his parental account to link the accounts of several children to one profile in order to see information for each child, even if they study in different classes and schools.

Features of the electronic diary

Why should parents and students learn this electronic resource? Parents and students who already use electronic diaries made sure that it is really noticeably more convenient and has additional useful qualities that the traditional does not have.

  • Today, a parent, anywhere (at home, at work, on a business trip) and at any time of the day, having access to the Internet, can find out how things are with his children’s education, their grades and attending classes.
  • Grades appear on electronic pages on the same day as the teacher puts them. In addition, you can track academic performance in subjects, for a quarter and for the school year, and the constant derivation of average grades helps to assess the weaknesses in the child's learning that require special attention. This opportunity makes the child more aware of the effectiveness of his work in the classroom, giving an additional incentive to learning activity.
  • Sometimes a student forgets to write down or writes inaccurate homework, an electronic diary where the teacher enters them himself, allows the student and his parents to know exactly what needs to be done. This helps to keep abreast of topics studied, even if the child misses school due to illness or other reasons.
  • Here we see information about changes in the schedule, the introduction of quarantine, competitions, comments from the teacher and other important news.

If you can’t get into the electronic diary

If you can’t get into the electronic diary, this usually happens because you forgot the correct username or password. In this case, you do not have the opportunity to register again, since the system stores your personal data in memory and does not allow you to create another profile with the same information. To recover a forgotten username or password, the parent of a Moscow school student must contact the class teacher to recover them.

Diary.ru users have the opportunity to deal with this problem themselves. Indicate your problem at the entrance - “I don’t remember the login” / “I don’t remember the password” and then follow the instructions. Since you indicated your contacts when registering, you will receive links to them to restore forgotten ones.

If the entrance is complicated by other reasons, then these services have a technical support service that will provide assistance. Also, the school service administrator can also help you.
