And I must say this idea and what it gives, many users liked and received a response. People began to buy such cases, primarily because of the good protection, since there is no need to glue a film on the screen, which annoys many. The place for the smart window was chosen, perhaps, correctly, exactly in the middle of the front cover. Made on purpose so that the user can easily control the home screen without extending their fingers.

A phone wearing the SCR24 can easily be tucked into the front pockets of your jeans and you won't notice much of a difference, as if the Xperia Z3 didn't have a case at all. beautifully and clearly demonstrated in the screenshots below. I would just like to clarify that the initial screen of the "smart window" works in both vertical and horizontal orientations.
The most important thing to understand is that you will definitely have to get used to this case for Xperia Z3 and work with a smart window. As elsewhere, there are conventions and features that are revealed during operation.
To begin with, you will have to get used to working with the screen in SCR24 smart window mode, since the sensitivity of the touchscreen through a transparent screen, although not much, drops. This is noticeable, so you have to press / swipe your finger more tightly and accurately. Then, get used to not opening the flip when making a call, but to use the initial screen of the Smart Window Cover.

I admit, at first it was annoying that some kind of case, even if it was branded and specially for the Xperia Z3, almost dictates how I use it, imposing unusual restrictions. But after a short period of adaptation, I realized all the advantages of SCR24:
- It makes no sense to glue films on the display, the protective glass is practically not scratched;
- The screen surface is much less heavily soiled if the full functionality of the Xperia Smart Window is used;
- The phone can be placed anywhere on either side without thinking about the consequences;
- The usability of the music player is improved due to the increased smart window interface controls.
Of the obvious shortcomings, I will only note:
- The absence of a hole for the LED indicator is a clear flaw, in the next versions for the new flagships Sony should definitely fix it.
