Photos from asus zenfone 2

This time there will be an unusual structure review and I'll explain why. Asus Zenfone 2 ZE551ML- This is a very interesting smartphone due to its characteristics and, of course, the price. Here is an excellent display, powerful stuffing - we will definitely talk about all this below. However, it is in the case of Zenfone 2 that I specifically want to highlight the software component.

On top of Android 5.0 available right out of the box, Asus ZenUI proprietary shell is installed here, which is not only stylish, beautiful and convenient, it also significantly expands the capabilities of the device. There are a lot of different settings and everything is presented in a very visual form. For potential owners of the device, I highly recommend not to skip this section of the review. The branded shell here is a truly competitive advantage. I will talk about the most interesting moments that seemed important and interesting to me. Go!

ZenUI - add-on OS

Let's start with desktops. In the settings mode, you can edit anything: there are many different interface themes, you can separately change icon sets, edit the style of folders and the location of icons inside, set live wallpapers, and so on. Animated wallpapers, by the way, are presented here directly from the manufacturer, in addition, of course, to those miserable ones from Google. Unfortunately, not all of them work smoothly enough. Animation may be poorly developed, or too much hardware resources may be expended.

There are really a lot of settings and you can customize the phone immediately after it is taken out of the package. No need to install dubious software or get Root rights. People who are far from w3bsit3-dns.com will be happy to get everything at once without unnecessary gestures.

Shell Asus Launcher (ZenUI) in terms of flexibility and appearance seemed to me one of the best on the market.

The only worthy competitor for her, it seems to me, is the interface from Huawei called.

I will highlight one great feature for lazy users. In the settings of the application list there is an item "Smart folder". When you click on it, all available applications are grouped by genre into their folders. The result is only two screens with programs instead of fifteen.

You can hang a password on individual labels, while others can simply be hidden from prying eyes.

The system works very well. There are no crashes, glitches, freezes, brakes at all. Interface animation flies.

Switching between applications occurs with barely noticeable delays, and if we agree that the maximum speed is 100%, then everything here works at about 90-95 percent, not lower. Even the Gallery loads all the photos very quickly and there is not that noticeable block loading of each picture, which can be seen on some devices from competitors.

The screen can be turned off or vice versa, activated by double tapping on its surface. Very convenient functionality, which you instantly get used to.

The developers even provided a special children's mode, for which special thanks to them. When activated, only a limited number of apps are available to the child, which you approve in advance. Exiting the mode occurs with a password, so smart kids beyond their years are unlikely to be able to do it on their own. Incoming calls are subject to restrictions, although this moment is configured in detail as needed.

I also liked the fact that you can pre-set the time for games from 15 minutes to infinity. Thus, you give the child to play and warn in advance that you will only have an hour of play, and then the phone will turn into a pumpkin. Whether the child believes or not is no longer your concern.

It's nice that the manufacturer did not forget to install the note editor. As many as two pieces. You can enter text as usual using the keyboard, or you can draw your own scribbles. The system does not recognize them, but only puts them in the line as is.

For some reason, many companies have decided to ditch these applications, even though users often need to write something quickly. It gets to the point where some people take notes while creating new contacts! It looks creepy when there is a subscriber in the phone book called "Lunch at the housing office from 12 to 13."

The argument “Why is it needed when you can download any notepad from Google Play” does not fit. Usually, when there is a need to write something down, it’s not up to climbing into the wilds of the app store and looking for something suitable there. By tradition, few people think about such moments in advance.

Now let's look at how you can keep all available applications in good shape. First, there is a tool for configuring autorun. Some utilities strive to start automatically after a reboot. The user, of course, is not aware, and the application, meanwhile, is actively eating battery power.

In the same window, you can see the brush icon, by clicking on which you can clear the RAM of any garbage hanging there.

For example, I got tired of watching the default Dr. Safety lit up in the status line for any reason, even if something seemed to him there. Well, I do not need the functionality of such applications! Why was it decided differently for me?

In addition, on smartphone a whole bunch of various "vital" programs are preinstalled.

This is the social network ZenCircle like Instagram, and task managers What`s Next or Do it later, and applications for transferring data between devices, and all kinds of advertising utilities. Some of this can really come in handy someday, but most of it is just rubbish, which traditionally cannot be avoided. Removing them by standard means is not so easy.

I didn't like the fact that built-in apps like Messages or Calls don't display new SMS or missed calls in real time.

You don't always look at the notification bar and it's easy to lose sight of the fact that you've received a call. However, in all other places in the system, in the event of an update of information, a tiny “N” icon will hang above the menu item, which obviously means “New”.

There are many functional and not very widgets. Many of them look stylish, informative and generally do not violate the feng shui of the interface.

Design

If I didn’t know what Asus Zenfone 2 looks like, and it would fall into my hands without any identifying inscriptions on the case, I would easily guess, if not the manufacturer, then at least the region where it is located. You see, everything flows, everything changes, and the big Asian players continue to bend their line in design. I don't count the Chinese. Leaders in this regard, of course, Samsung, but our Asus is not far behind. All of them cannot break the vicious circle of endless, almost identical plastic brick phones. They try to transfer buttons, add new colors (white, gold and even pink), body texture, make metal inserts, and phones, as they were faceless bricks, remain so now.

Zenfone 2 is a bright representative (or maybe a victim) of such Asian conservatism. Yes, some elements of the appearance look good, but only separately. If you put it all together, it turns out boring and not interesting.

Well, he doesn’t play, the smartphone in his hand doesn’t ring, whatever one may say.

I'll tell you about the main nuances of operation. The first thing you notice is the back side. It is streamlined, the corners are beveled closer to the ribs, due to which you can cheat a little.

The specs say the device is a mind-blowing 3.9mm thick, but unfortunately that's the thinnest edge. In the middle, the device is a bit thick and it is not customary to hold it in hands at a time when all manufacturers are fighting for every tenth of a millimeter. Here it is 10.8 mm and all of them are felt, believe me, in full.

As for the width, everything is also so simple here. The device is really wide, and generally very large. For those who love compact smartphones, our hero will not work. All dimensions are shown in the table below in comparison with some key competitors.

The wide bezels on the sides of the display are very embarrassing. Actually, at other ends they are also rather big. Below is an example of an image from the official website and a real photo taken by me. In the first picture, the display is artificially stretched over the area of the device and it is impossible to estimate the real width of the frames.

Above the screen is a front camera, a speaker grid, proximity and ambient light sensors, as well as an LED indicator of various events. The thing is necessary, useful.

Also important is the behavior of the automatic brightness of the backlight. For the most part, the system copes with this task without problems, but if necessary, the backlight slider can be adjusted independently. A trifle, but very important.

The situation with touch control keys is interesting. I scold phones in which buttons are part of the interface, as they sometimes eat away the useful area of the virtual interface. At the same time, I scold phones where the buttons are placed on the case, as a result of which it is difficult to keep the smartphone in a horizontal position - there is a great chance to accidentally touch a touch key and exit, for example, from the game at the wrong time.

I can’t criticize the Zenfone 2 in this regard. The touch buttons here are shifted closer to the display, and there is enough space below them to make it comfortable to hold the device in your hands. Oh, not my day today!

Although no, there was still a negative point. The symbols of the touch keys are not highlighted and in the dark it is not clear where to press.

The physical keys are scattered here, each in its own corners. The power button settled on the top end. Its course is completely indistinct, it is not accompanied by any noticeable click, which is why there is no desire to press it once again. Fortunately, the smartphone can be awakened by a double tap on the glass.

The volume keys are on the back side. "Directly, as in the devices!" - you will exclaim and you will be right. The approach is right, the location is convenient, so why not.

It's embarrassing that above the volume control there is a peephole of the main camera, which also sticks out above the surface of the case. The lens will quickly scratch, which is clearly seen in the photo below.

The multimedia speaker is again on the back of the device. The sound that it makes is not bad, moderately clear, but somehow quiet - not above average.

A whole scattering of different colors will be available for sale: gray, red, white, red, black and (where without it?) gold. The classic dark gray, which in our review, in my opinion, looks the worst.

Display

The device turned out to be a large, 5.5-inch screen with Full HD resolution. The dot density is more than sufficient 403 ppi. The display is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3 with a high-quality oleophobic coating.

The touch layer here is very sensitive, and you don’t even need to activate the operating mode with the device in gloves. One gets the feeling that sometimes you do not even have time to touch the surface of the screen, and the interface has already responded to the touch. Approximately the same thing was observed in .

Considering that the screen is rather big, it is logical that the developers have added a one-handed control mode. To activate it, just double-tap on the touch icon with a house and the entire interface will shrink into a small window. Its size, by the way, can be stretched at your discretion.

The juiciness of the picture, the contrast - everything is at a very high level, for which we can say thanks to the IPS-matrix. Viewing angles are generally good, however, under even a slight deviation, a slightly noticeable greenish tint appears. Of course, everything is not as critical here as in Samsung products (not counting).

You can evaluate this parameter yourself by clicking on the link in. Below or on the right in those images, just the hero of today's review.

I'll tell you a little more about the processor. So, as the "brains" here we use a system on a chip Intel Atom Z3580 with a clock frequency of 2.3 GHz. By the way, there is also a modification with the Intel Atom Z3560 model and a frequency reduced to 1.8 GHz, and in addition, with 2 gigabytes of memory installed as RAM. We have a more advanced solution on the test.

The processor belongs to the Moorefield family and is manufactured using 22nm technology. The declared frequency is the maximum level that is reached in rare, necessary cases.

The PowerVR G6430 video accelerator, which is also used as part of the Apple A7 processor (iPhone 5S), is responsible for the graphics. The only difference is that Asus engineers slightly increased the operating frequencies to 533 MHz at the peak value. In terms of performance, the chip is slightly ahead of the Adreno 330 (Qualcomm Snapdragon 800), but still inferior to the Adreno 420 or the older solution from the PowerVR G6450 family. The latter is part of the Apple A8, which is installed in or 6 Plus.

3G or LTE is available only on one SIM card - on the first one. The second is equipped with a 2G module, which is suitable for voice calls. It is not possible to change the settings as this is a hardware limitation.

Performance is enough for games of any level. Asphalt 8, Dead Trigger 2 (for some reason it started at low settings), Modern Combat 5 - everywhere the device showed its best side even at high graphics settings.

Having four gigabytes of RAM is a definite boon. Even with a dozen open tabs in the browser (Chrome) and running in the same number of background applications, performance does not drop in any way. Open web pages do not reload on their own.

Front-camera

A 5-megapixel sensor with a wide-angle lens is installed on the front so that all relatives can fit into the frame. Here is a real expanse for selfie lovers. The skin can be made porcelain, remove flaws, add a blush, increase the size of the eyes, remove the cheeks that you managed to eat in the McDachna. In general, everything that an average Asian needs.

In general, the front sensor produces quite good pictures. The quality quite satisfies the existing level among smartphones.

Main camera

The rear camera is represented by a 13-megapixel module with a 5-element lens and f / 2.0 aperture. The image resolution is 4096 x 3072 pixels. Perhaps this is one of the weakest points of the smartphone. The camera here is average in quality. The machine often makes mistakes with the exposure, the edges of some photos are blurry, and somehow there is too much noise in the photo. On the screen of the phone, the pictures look very good, but on a large monitor, everything appears in a not the best way. Examples of photos taken in various conditions below.

Outcome

Asus Zenfone 2 ZE551ML could really surprise me. At first, I perceived it as just a boring, uninteresting yet another smartphone on the market. However, coupled with the software shell, the speed of work and the quality of the implementation of other functions, he was able to win my preference.

Buy The device is currently available for only 19,990 rubles. For example, on Gearbest.com, the device costs ridiculous money. This is an average cost, since within the framework of the price war that has played out on the Russian market, you can find offers even cheaper. For this money, the user risks (oh, how risky) to get almost the best ratio price/ quality.

However, it was not without negative aspects. The first is questionable design. Despite the textured plastic, the play of light on the edges, the device looks boring. Secondly, the main camera, which is weak by the standards of top solutions, is installed on board. The latter is the first among equals, but at the level of average-priced devices.

Zenfone 2 cannot be compared with the flagships of the current year from the first echelon companies. On almost all fronts, he loses the competition. However, the device is one of the first on the market to get 4 gigabytes of RAM. In my opinion, the Asus smartphone has only one real competitor - this. Both smartphones offer the user excellent workmanship and very high performance. The Chinese still has a better camera, or rather, two at once, but it also costs 6-7 thousand rubles more. In general, let each user decide for himself what is more important to him.

Audio player and audio manager in ASUS ZenFone 2

There are no complaints about the sound quality - the sound turns out to be quite distinct, there is no “mess” even in fancy music or videos, as well as no bass or surround effects. But for everyday use and the available features are enough.

Iron

They say that the unthinkable will happen soon and future ASUS devices will almost without exception acquire Qualcomm processors. Who knows - until now, the strength of the Taiwanese brand in the smartphone and tablet market has depended not least on the pliability of Intel. The processor manufacturer and the hardware manufacturer at one time came to a consensus “we are doing great with computers and bad with mobile phones, let's work with minimal profit and earn a name”, which turned out to be delicious chip prices for ASUS and good sales of previous ZenFones. In general, it is not surprising that ZenFone 2 is also built on the platform of a permanent partner.

So, we have a quad-core Intel Atom Z3580 (there are also ZenFone 2 with Atom Z3560 on sale, but in general the devil will break his leg in the configurations of this model) of the 2014 sample. It does not look ultra-modern in terms of miniaturization (the 22 nm process technology is now not held in high esteem - Qualcomm can do 20 nm, and Samsung can do all 14 nm), but in Moorefield chips, Intel did a lot of work on the bugs and corrected almost everything for which he was "kicked earlier".

Instead of "corn" Hyper-Threading, which programmatically "crushed" two cores into four threads so that the processor worked as a quad-core, there are now four full-fledged cores capable of overclocking up to 2.3 GHz (which is very cool, given the "desktop-computer" origin of the processor). The remaining improvements relate to power consumption (the old Atom in ZenFone 5 ate the battery charge only on the road) and the introduction of a 4G modem. In terms of processor power, the Atom Z3580 is able to easily overtake the Snapdragon 805 installed in the Samsung Galaxy Note Edge and perform on equal terms with the Snapdragon 808 that the LG G4 has acquired.

The graphics of this chip are even more interesting: the PowerVR G6430 video accelerator is familiar to us from the Apple iPhone 5S, only in the case of the Intel processor we are talking about an overclocked modification of the video core. And let the current "High end" in the face of Tegra K1 or Adreno 420 not overtake this graphics - Adreno 320 (used in the Sony Xperia Z3) and Mali-T628 of all variations (used in the Samsung Galaxy Note 3) this video core will bypass without difficulty.

And, of course, how can one not mention here about 4 GB of “RAM” in the older versions of ZenFone 2: today this amount of memory is enough even for an inexpensive laptop or home computer, what can we say about smartphones. Even taking into account Android Lollipop, weighted by the ASUS shell, without running additional applications, 2.5 “giga” RAM was always available in the smartphone. But in general - this amount of memory now allows you to have fun by launching a pack of tricked-out games, so that later you can pause them and switch between them for no reason. Yes, and as a reinsurance against crooked parasite programmers who do not know how to write compact applications, it will also come in handy. Otherwise, there is still little benefit from such a monstrous volume in ZenFone 2.

Zenfone 2 is a relatively inexpensive flagship smartphone from Asus with a very good interface. For a large display with a diagonal of 5.5 inches and Full HD resolution, the user may have only one complaint - it has a low maximum brightness. Therefore, in bright sunlight, the screen fades quite strongly and the image is difficult to distinguish. Otherwise, it meets expectations from a gadget of this price.

Intel Atom hardware platform

The smartphone runs on the Intel Z3580 hardware platform. You should not worry about the performance of Atom chips, especially fresh models with a new microarchitecture - the test results and the experience of "live" use speak for themselves. The presence of the Power VR Rogue video accelerator makes the smartphone even faster in mobile games, which the integrated Intel graphics have not always coped with. The smartphone is not just quite weighty (its thickness is 10.9 mm) - it has a 3000 mAh battery. Usually its resource is enough for a day of active work with a smartphone.

Proprietary user interface

Most of all I want to praise the smartphone for its user interface. The Asus development team managed to create an extremely “light” launcher, well-optimized and fast running on almost any hardware platform, and at the same time stuff it with all sorts of additional features. So, it improves work with a locked smartphone, which can be woken up by double tapping on the screen or - even more interesting - by drawing certain characters on the locked screen to launch specified applications. In this way, you save time by not bothering to search for the desired program across all desktops or the list of applications. The interface in the camera is also good - there are many shooting modes, ranging from selfie, in which the program will help you take a self-portrait on the main camera, and ending with a special mode for night photography and creating gif animations.

8MP camera

Asus Zenfone 2's "chip" is fast and smooth operation, which is provided by a combination of a powerful platform and a well-optimized interface. The only thing that can upset the user a little is that the camera here is 8 megapixels and either the optics are not the best, or the image processor is mediocre, but the photos often turn out to be desaturated and not very sharp. So for Instagram posts, you will have to use filters to increase sharpness and contrast.

This smartphone looks quite interesting. What I didn’t like about the design right away was the large frames, both on the sides, and on top and bottom. The back cover is removable, it exists in several colors. There are premium covers that can be bought separately, however, this is not yet possible in Russia (the information is current at the time of writing the review). As we know, LG was the first to abandon the buttons on the sides, moving them to the back of the device. Asus repeated this in this smartphone, but not a carbon copy, the power button went up. I remember earlier, a few years ago, the power button at the top - it was a common truth. Now, given the huge dimensions of the device, the button at the top is completely inconvenient. The smartphone is really big, the display diagonal is close to the phablet, plus the frame. It is virtually impossible to control with one hand, since this problem was solved by software, as well as the problem of the inaccessibility of the power button, we will talk about this below.

shell

The smartphone is preinstalled with a 32-bit (according to benchmarks) version of Android OS 5. zenUI shell. What can I say, somewhere in the shell bugs slip through. With updates, these little things will, of course, become less, but for some reason Asus never publishes information about the timing of updates. There are problems, but they are solved, it only takes time until the shell is a bit damp. But this does not mean that it is not functional, on the contrary. There are simply an unrealistic number of functions and chips here. For example, a double tap will help to lock and unlock the smartphone, since the power button is very far away, this is a plus. In addition, double tapping on the home button reduces the screen size, it is easier to use the smartphone with one hand, this solves the problem of a large screen. A screenshot is not made by a key combination, but by a long press on the application list button. The functionality of the curtain is very wide, a lot of settings. I was pleased with the presence of an autorun manager, in which you can disable all unnecessary applications so that they do not take away RAM and do not discharge the smartphone. The smartphone control system with gestures is perfectly implemented: we draw a letter on the locked screen, the application opens, you can set the action when shaking the smartphone. Very important for older people is the Easy mode, which turns the interface into an analogue of Windows. Separately, I note the software ability to record a telephone conversation, here it is, a very useful thing.

Specifications

  • CPU

    Intel Atom Z3580, 4 cores 2300 MHz

  • video processor

The bundle is exotic for today's market, but the processor is 64-bit, and the frequency is rather big 1800 MHz. It turned out that the decision to use this particular pair turned out to be correct. The smartphone works correctly, there are no friezes during use, although the screen resolution is fullHD. Productivity only benefited from this.

Memory

Our model has 32 GB of main memory, expandable by micro SD up to 64 GB. Programmatically, there is the ability to install games and applications on a memory card, this pleased. Now the most important thing. This smartphone, specifically our tested model, is the first in the world where the size of RAM is as much as 4 GB! To think, I have so much in my laptop, guys, and this is a smartphone. On the one hand, it is, of course, marketing. In principle, a smartphone and 3 GB of “RAM” with a margin, and on the other hand, 4 GB is a push into the future, there is something for manufacturers of both hardware and software.

Connection

Like all modern flagships, this surprisingly inexpensive smartphone by today's standards supports all communication standards. The smartphone has as many as 2 radio modules, it's just great, it's a rarity on the market. There is also a negative point here, the radiation from them is twice as much, respectively. If you are not afraid of this, then this moment will not upset you. It is easier to list what the smartphone does not support. There is no IR port. Everything else is there, even FM radio, even GPS, which works great, we tested it, we are sure of it.

Look
updated as new information becomes available and published after careful review

In 2014, Asus launched a new line of Zenfone smartphones, which were distinguished by an affordable price. Judging by the demand for such devices, the idea turned out to be successful, and the line received a logical continuation: Zenfone 2 ZE551ML, released in 2015, is a “live” proof of this. The smartphone boasts decent features, good design, and an attractive price: the junior version can be purchased at a price of 187 USD. But for the older version they will ask for up to 390 USD. It all depends on the configuration (and the wrapping of the store). The indicated prices are approximate and current at the time of the creation of the review.

The design of the device is attractive, and at the same time recognizable. On the front part, under the screen, there is a plate with a gradient pattern. The case back is detachable, slightly curved for a more comfortable grip, and with a metal-like pattern. There are several cover colors to choose from: black, white, grey, red and gold. There is not a single button on the side edges: the volume rocker is on the back side, and the power button is on the top edge. Case dimensions: 77.20 x 152.50 x 10.90 mm. Weight: 170 g.

Specifications Asus Zenfone 2 ZE551ML

Thanks to the ability to choose the hardware configuration, everyone can choose the right option based on their needs and financial capabilities.

Processor and Memory

The smartphone is sold in two main variations. The differences between them are the processor, the amount of main and RAM. In any configuration, a Power VR G6430 graphics chip is installed, as well as the possibility of expanding memory using MicroSD (up to 64 GB).

A simpler version of Asus Zenfone 2 received a prefix in the name ZE550ML. The smartphone has an Intel Atom Z3560 processor (4 cores, 1.8 GHz). RAM is 2GB and ROM is 16GB.

The older model with the ZE551ML prefix is equipped with a 4-core Intel Atom Z3580 processor with a frequency of 2.33 GHz. The amount of RAM has been increased to 4 GB, and the built-in storage can be 32 and 64 GB.

The difference in performance with the naked eye is quite difficult to notice. Both devices are very fast, except that the version with 4 GB of RAM will notice a faster switching between applications. However, the Intel Atom Z3560/Z3580 processors do not reach the top ranks, so the most demanding games on hardware resources will run without FPS subsidence only at reduced graphics settings.

Offline work

The battery capacity is 3000 mAh. Despite the opening lid, the battery is non-removable. The manufacturer managed to successfully combine the capacity of the battery with a powerful but energy-efficient hardware component, as well as optimize the software. In sum, all this made it possible for the device to work smoothly for 24 hours, with a moderately active load. In practice, this means 2 daylight hours of operation without recharging. In the settings there is a customizable power saving mode, including an ultra-saving mode that allows you to extend the battery life by a few more hours.

Camera

The main 13 MP camera is equipped with a dual flash with a cold and warm glow, as well as laser autofocus. The interface of the camera application is quite simple, but functional. In the settings there is an adjustment of manual shooting parameters, such as exposure, white balance, ISO. There is image stabilization, but at the software level. A high-aperture matrix allows you to get good pictures in low light. A decent result is obtained in the daytime, but the photos are inferior in detail to the pictures taken on the top flagships from A-brands of 2015. The camera can blur the background, quickly focuses.

Videos can be recorded at a maximum resolution of 1080p (1920x1080). The video quality is acceptable, however, the stabilization does not do its job in the best way: the image when shooting while walking still twitches quite noticeably.

The 5 MP front camera takes pictures very well: it is ideal for taking self-portraits.

Display

The 5.5-inch display with an IPS matrix and FullHD resolution (1920x1080) is covered with Gorilla Glass 3 protective glass. The oleophobic layer is really high quality, prints almost do not appear, and are easily erased. The margin of brightness is high, in sunlight the visibility of the image is acceptable. Color reproduction and image contrast are good, viewing angles are maximum. You can individually adjust the color mode, including image contrast and saturation, or choose one of the preset modes.

Networking

Under the cover of the smartphone there are 2 slots for SIM cards, one of them can work in 3G and 4G LTE networks, the second - in 2G networks. But the most interesting thing is that two radio modules were built into Asus Zenfone 2 at once! Those who actively use two SIM-cards can easily switch between them during a telephone conversation. That is, while you are talking with relatives on a personal number, you can easily receive a call from a client or boss on a work number. The smartphone has an NFC module. GPS navigation works quickly and flawlessly.

Sound

The main speaker is loud, even very loud, the sound quality is relatively good. The same can be said about the sound in the headphones. The speaker will please the owner with the opportunity to hear a fairly loud and distinct voice of the interlocutor.

Software part

The operating system used is Android 5.1, with the Asus ZenUI shell. The shell interface allows you to fine-tune desktops, widgets, sort applications into folders or hide them. But at the same time, the launcher looks beautiful and minimalistic, works quickly, and is not overloaded with unnecessary elements. Among the many features of Asus ZenUI, we can note the presence of a built-in autorun application manager, which will help prevent individual software from running in the background on its own, and thereby extend battery life.

Pros and cons of Asus Zenfone 2 ZE551ML

Advantages:

  • a decent indicator of battery life;
  • two full-fledged radio modules;
  • there is an event indicator;
  • good camera;
  • acceptable price.

Flaws:

Our review of the smartphone Asus Zenfone 2 ZE551ML

Previously, lesser-known brands from China appeared in the segment of affordable flagships. Asus has seized the initiative and seems to be doing well.
