The abolition of unlimited Internet was first of all touched by users of Wi-Fi-routers. The majority of Altel subscribers were connected to the Web unlim and Unlim LTE tariff plans for 4 500 tenge, the terms of which since April 1 do not correspond to the name. Previously, for this amount was provided by the so-called unlimited Internet: at high speed it was possible to download 15 GB, and after the priority in the network was given to subscribers who did not spend this limit, and often the speed was slow. And now for this money you can get only 30 GB, but, as noted in Altel, without any speed limits. After exhausting traffic, Internet access is blocked.
In order to prevent disconnection of Internet access, it is necessary to monitor the traffic in personal account on the Altel website. The amount of spent / remaining megabytes is shown in the first rectangle on the left.
In the event that you have used up all 30 GB of the Internet, the operator offers you two options for renewing Internet access:
- Connect a one-time Internet package. You can do this in your account or on the site booster.altel.kz. It is enough to choose a suitable service and enter the number on which the Internet is renewed.
- Re-pay 4 500 tenge and reconnect the tariff plan. The algorithm of actions is exactly the same as in the first case.
