Smartphone Tele2 Mini: detailed review of the model. Tele2 phone does not turn on what is the reason Tele2 mini does not work

If the phone displays the error "SIM - card not inserted", then usually the reason for this is an incorrectly inserted SIM card. This is the main reason, but not the only one. Also the problem could be in the Android software. When, due to a firmware failure, Android does not see the SIM card.

This guide is suitable for any Android device, including LG, HTC, Xiaomi Redmi, Lenovo, Huawei Honor, Sony, Fly, ZTE, Meizu, Prestigio, Philips, ASUS, Nokia, Mikromax, Samsung Galaxy, etc.

There is a possibility that the SIM card is inserted correctly, but the android phone does not see it due to software errors. The reason for the error may be the inability of the device to connect to the network due to incorrect settings.

You can list more reasons for this error. Instead, let's take a look at what you can do to fix the problem so you can use your phone as before. After all, your Android phone cannot fully function if it does not see the SIM card.

Method 1: restart your smartphone

Let's start with the easiest and fastest way. When the phone restarts, it will restart most of the software as well. This will fix minor bugs preventing the Android phone from seeing the SIM card. So reboot your device and let it reconnect to the network.

Check if the phone sees the SIM card now. If the problem is resolved, then do not pay attention to the subsequent methods. If the problem persists or it becomes necessary to reboot the device too often, then proceed to the next options.

Method 2: check the SIM card slot

Turn off your smartphone and remove the SIM card from the slot. It is possible that dust has got inside the phone and clogged the contacts of the SIM card slot. Blow dust out of the nest and gently wipe the sim without damaging its parts. Return the SIM card to the slot and turn on the device. Check the functionality.

If the problem persists, then try using a different SIM card with your Android, if you have another Android smartphone. This will help you determine if a faulty SIM is the culprit.

If other SIM cards work fine on your device, then the problem is in the SIM card, and not in the phone.

Your device can read SIM cards normally, and the reason was a damaged SIM card. In this case, purchase a new SIM card from your operator.

Method 3: Insert the SIM card into the slot more securely

If the SIM card is not inserted well enough and does not fit snugly in the slot, then this can lead to an error when the smartphone tries to detect the SIM card.

This happens because the SIM card loses normal contact with the device. The android (phone) tries to connect to the network but throws an error instead. You need to press it with something to keep it in place.

Some users use a small strip of tape to secure the SIM card. Others put in a piece of paper.

Method 4: Switch to Airplane Mode

If you find out that the problem is not with the SIM card, then try switching your device to airplane mode. Many users have solved the problem this way on Android.

  • Open the notification panel on your smartphone.
  • Find "Airplane Mode" by scrolling left or right over the icons.
  • Tap on Airplane Mode to turn it on.
  • Select "Enable" in the warning message.
  • Wait 30 seconds and tap Airplane Mode again to turn it off.

After turning off airplane mode, the device will try to find the network again. If the network is found, then your problem is solved.

Method 5: Set automatic network type selection

Perhaps the wrong type of network is installed on the device, which could cause the reason why the Android phone does not see the SIM card. If you have chosen the wrong type of network, then your smartphone can no longer automatically select the one you need and connect. As a result, Android does not see the SIM card.

Follow these steps to resolve the issue:

  • Enter the settings menu of your Android phone.
  • Find the "Connections" section and click on it.
  • Then click on "Mobile networks".
  • Click on "Network Mode".
  • You will see a menu with different options. Make sure you have the LTE / WCDMA / GSM (Auto Connect) option selected.

After setting up, make sure the device automatically connects to an available network. If the problem was in the wrong type of network, then now Android will see the SIM card.

Method 6: choose the right mobile operator

If the network operator selected on your smartphone is not the same as the SIM card operator, then this will also cause an error. Follow these steps to resolve the issue:

  • Click on "Additional networks" and then go to "Mobile networks".
  • Then select "Network Operators".
  • Click on "Search for networks".

The device will start searching for all available networks. After completing the search, you will see the entire list of found operators on the screen. Select your operator from the list. Your Android should now be able to connect to the network normally. You will no longer see the error: the Android phone does not see the SIM card.

You can use these methods on all Android phones, including LG, HTC, Xiaomi Redmi, Lenovo, Huawei Honor, Sony, Fly, ZTE, Asus, Nokia, Micromax, Meizu, BQ, Alcatel, Samsung Galaxy, etc.

Method 7: Clear the cache on your Android

Clearing the cache of your Android phone can solve many system problems like not seeing the SIM card. However, we are not going to use the simplified cache deletion, instead we will try to clear the cache via the restore menu. Follow the instructions below to delete the cache using the recovery menu:

Step 1. Turn off your smartphone and leave it there for a couple of minutes.

Step 2. Now turn on the device while holding the Power and Volume Down buttons to open the recovery menu.

Step 3. Use the volume keys to navigate the menus.

Step 4. Select “Wipe cache partition” and press the Home button to select it.

Give your phone a few minutes to delete all unnecessary data from your smartphone and restart it. After that, the phone should show a good signal, if not, then go to the next method.

Method 8: Reset your smartphone to factory settings

Often, it is a factory reset that helps to solve many problems arising from problem software, for example, Android does not see a SIM card or SD card. Keep in mind that factory reset will completely clear your phone's memory, including installed third-party programs.

Therefore, it is important to back up all data from the device before performing a factory reset.

  • Enter the settings menu of your device.
  • Select "Restore and Reset".
  • Don't forget to click "Backup" to back up all your settings before resetting. Also check the “AutoRecover” checkbox to restore all settings after a reset.
  • Then click "Reset settings".

After resetting the settings, the smartphone will automatically reboot. After overloading, check the device's functionality and whether the error with the SIM card has disappeared.

What to do if the phone gets water and now it does not see the SIM card?

If you dropped your phone into water and now it does not see the SIM card, then most likely the water damaged one of the electronic circuits. Let the phone dry well before using it. Remove the back cover (if it is removable), take out the battery and SIM - card. Next, place all the parts in a container with rice.

Leave the parts to dry for 24 hours. Then collect all the details and check if the android sees the sim card. If this does not help, then you need to see a specialist to assess the level of physical damage.

What to do if Android does not see the SIM card after the update?

The software update aims to make the device perform better and more stable. This is why it is recommended that you always keep your software up to date. However, if the update caused a problem, then most likely the reason lies in the old data.

  • Restart your smartphone to see if the problem is resolved.
  • Take out the SIM - card, wipe it and the socket from dust. Make sure it fits securely in the slot.
  • Reset the settings to factory defaults after backing up your data. Check if the error is gone.

If none of the above helped, then you should contact the service center specified in the warranty.

Smartphone Review Tele2 Mini

A little background. The fact is that I have been using only Apple smartphones for more than 5 years. It so happened that even now I have one of the most flagship models of the iPhone 6 plus.
A couple of weeks ago, I took a SIM card of one mobile operator for a test for the LTE Internet test in our region. As you know, the iPhone has only one SIM card slot and my main number needed a phone for the test period.
Since all my numbers are connected to Tele2, I contacted the company with a request to take their smartphone for a test.

To make it clear what will be discussed today, I'll start with the price. At the moment, the Tele2 Mini smartphone costs only 2,190 rubles... This is one of the cheapest smartphones currently on the market in principle.

Specifications:
GSM support: 850/900/1800/1900 MHz
UMTS / HSPA + support (only for SIM1): 900/2100 MHz
Dual-core processor: MT6572 @ 1.3 GHz
Screen: 4 "with a resolution of 800x480 pixels
Memory: 512MB (RAM) + 4GB (ROM) + microSD card slot (up to 32GB)
Operating system: Android 5.1
Camera: 2 MP (main) + 0.3 MP (front)
Support for working with two SIMs: the first slot is in 2G / 3G mode, only Tele2 SIM cards can be used; second slot - only 2G
Built-in GPS module: Yes
Wi-Fi b / g / n: Yes
FM radio: 87.5 - 108.0 MHz
Interfaces: microUSB; 3.5mm mini-jack
Battery: 1500mAh rechargeable battery
Dimensions: 125.4 x 64.5 x 10.9mm
Weight: 111g
Applications: branded applications "Tele2 TV" and "My Tele2" are preinstalled.

One of the main advantages is the presence of two SIM card slots. Tele2 was the first to do this democratically with its customers. The first slot is locked for a Tele2 SIM card, the second supports SIM cards of any operators.

1. Let's start by unpacking. The Tele2 Mini smartphone is packed in a nice branded box:

2.On the reverse side, the characteristics of the Tele2 Mini smartphone are described:

3. We open. Brief instructions in Russian:

5. The first impression is incredibly comfortable in the hand (especially after 6 plus):

6. The back of the smartphone. The main camera has a resolution of 2MP, which is quite a bit for modern devices. We'll talk about the camera a little later. An LED flash is located next to the camera. At the bottom, under the Tele2 logo, perforation for the speaker sound:

7. I would like to dwell on the back cover in detail. It is made of plastic and has a ribbed surface. As I said, the phone fits comfortably in the hand, and the surface of the back cover prevents it from slipping out of the hand:

8. The top of the smartphone. At the end there is a micro-usb connector for charging and data transfer. Nearby is a standard mini-jack socket for connecting a headset. Smartphone power button and volume rocker on the side of the right and left, respectively:

9. Package contents: usb cable, headset with headphones and microphone, manual, smartphone, 1500Ma / h battery, adapter for charging from the mains:

10. Under the back cover there are two slots for SIM cards of a standard size. There is also a slot for a micro-sd memory card up to 32 GB. Niche for the battery:

11. In my case, I put a Tele2 card with my own number in the first, main slot. In the second - mts for calls. It should be remembered that the first slot is the main one and only it supports 3G. The second slot is auxiliary and operates in 2G. I also installed a 32 GB memory card, but the standard sim1 closes it:

12. First launch. We choose Russian and go ahead:

14. Android must update via high-speed 3G - Internet or connected wi-fi. As a result, we get a smartphone ready to use:

The first impressions of using Tele2 Mini are very positive. I prepared myself for the fact that a smartphone for such money simply cannot be good. I was very wrong. An important point - the smartphone DOES NOT STOP. This is very annoying in other cheap models. Why are there cheap ones, there are smartphones for 15-20 thousand rubles hanging so that you want to throw them against the wall. With Tele2 Mini, everything is very correct and pleasant.
Of course, with a 4-inch display and 512 MB of RAM, it just doesn't make sense to install many applications, but Tele2 Mini copes quite well with the main tasks that a smartphone should perform. Messengers, social networks, internet calls - these are the main differences between a smartphone and a regular dialer. And don't forget about the price. Now dialers are not much cheaper.

In a week of using the Tele2 Mini, I only charged it 2 times. Not to say that I actively used it, but all outgoing calls during the week I made from it. Feels like, with super-active use of calls and the Internet, the battery should last for 1-2 days, which is quite worthy. In standby mode, the battery holds a charge for several days. As you know, the main battery power is taken up by the display. At 4 inches and a resolution of 800x480 pixels, the 1500 ma / h battery copes well with its tasks.
A full charge from the native device (700 ma / h) takes about 2 hours. If you use modern power adapters (2.1ma / h), then a charge from 0 to 100% will take less than an hour. However, manufacturers do not recommend using other people's chargers. They know better.

As already mentioned, Tele2 Mini has 512 MB of RAM. The main one is 4 GB. When launched on a smartphone, 1.27 GB is available. the operating system is large.
An excellent solution to the problem is memory cards. As you know, all applications, photos and videos can be installed and saved to a memory card:

The Tele2 Mini smartphone has a GPS receiver. This is not to say that it is super-accurate, but it works quite well for a smartphone of this class. When loading Google maps, I determined the location almost instantly. Can be used as a GPS navigator. In addition, now Google maps can be downloaded for offline:

Technology has lagged a bit here. 2 MP by modern standards is clearly not enough, detail suffers from this. A plus can be noted the possibility of video filming, but the quality will also be appropriate. And again we return to the question of the price, for 2,190 rubles, you should not wait for a super-camera. There is also a front camera, but its resolution is only 0.3 MP.
Photo taken with the main camera of Tele2 Mini:

I want to end with what pleased me the most. Tele2 Mini is very compact. I've always had problems where to carry a big smartphone. Tele2 Mini fits easily into a shirt chest pocket. If there is a flap with a button, you can close your pocket and not worry that your smartphone will slip out of your pocket if you bend over:

He also sits perfectly in the hand as an adult:

Compare its dimensions to my iPhone 6 Plus. By the way, a unique shot. The picture shows one of the cheapest and one of the most expensive smartphones in the world. Just think, the price of an iPhone is equal to the sum of the cost of 35 pieces of Tele2 Mini. And the tasks are essentially the same:

Let me summarize. For a week of using Tele2 Mini, I did not feel any discomfort, especially since I used smartphones of completely different classes at the same time. For its tasks, Tele2 Mini is quite adequate for its value. I will say even more: in the price / quality ratio, the price is clearly understated. In addition to personal use, I can recommend this smartphone as a gift to family and friends. It looks quite presentable and does not feel like a cheap smartphone at all. If relatives and friends use a different operator, then it's not a problem at all to switch to Tele2 with your number. I did this quite recently, as I described in detail here.

Smartphone Tele2 Mini description and unlocking from the operator

Just a week ago (February 17, 2016) the mobile operator Tele2 released its first branded phone. The cost of a smartphone is 1890 rubles and it is called Smartphone Tele2 Mini, the manufacturer is the Chinese firm Haier Electrical Appliances Corp. Ltd.

Usually it used to be like this, the operator Tele2 was associated only with second generation 2G networks. In recent years, the operator has changed a lot, and now phones have appeared under their own brand.

So, Tele2 Mini is a two-SIM phone with support for WCDMA (3G) networks, the first slot is blocked for the operator. The smartphone runs on the Android 5.1 operating system and has a 1.3 GHz MT6572 dual-core processor, 512 MB of RAM and 4GB of internal memory, of which about

1.5GB. Also, do not forget that the internal memory can always be expanded using a microSD memory card, the phone supports them up to 32 GB.

Touch screen 4 "with a resolution of 800x480 pixels. Equipped with two cameras, the main 2MP and the front 0.3MP, the quality of photos and videos will be discussed in the review.

Like all modern smartphones, it supports wireless communication Wi-Fi 802.11 b / g / n, Bluetooth 4.0, there is a built-in GPS receiver for navigation.

As we mentioned earlier, the phone works on both 2G (850/900/1800/1900 MHz) and 3G (900/2100 MHz) networks. But a SIM card can register in the 3G network only from slot 1.

The smartphone has dimensions of 125.4 x 64.5 x 10.9 mm and a weight of 111g.

Installed rechargeable battery 1500 mAh.

In our opinion, this phone will be attractive to everyone due to the low price of 1890 rubles, its direct analogue MTS Smart Start 2 costs a little more, otherwise they are two identical models.

Unlock / unlock Tele2 Mini smartphone
1. Initially, the first slot of the Tele2 Mini smartphone can work only with SIM cards of the Tele2 operator. The manufacturer of this smartphone retained the ability to unlock from the operator using standard smartphone software tools. It is enough to insert the SIM card of the "foreign" operator and a request will appear on the phone screen to enter the unlock code for the SIM card network.

2. To get the unlock code, you need to know the IMEI slot # 1. To get this data, just dial * # 06 # in the dialer and in the first line you will see IMEI slot # 1.

4. Immediately after payment, you will have access to a form to fill out, in which you must specify:
- Email address (email);
- IMEI slot # 1;

4.1. If the form did not appear, for example, you did not click on the link "Back to the seller", then you should have a letter in your mail with the subject: "Oplata.Info: buying on the Plati.Ru site", in this letter is a link to the purchased item. By clicking on this link, you will see a form to fill out.

4.2. Fill out the form carefully and without errors. Press the "Send" button.

4.3. At the same moment, the unlock code will be displayed in the "Paid goods" section.

5. After receiving the code, insert a sim card different from the Tele2 operator into slot 1 and turn on the smartphone.

6. At the request for the code, enter the code provided to you carefully and without errors and confirm your input.

7. This completes the network unblocking process.

Tele2 Mini phone: appearance, performance, capabilities.

Having studied the model of the Tele2 Mini smartphone manufactured by Haier (China), it becomes clear that just such a solution was lacking in the Tele2 line. After all, it combines a low price, 3G technology and the ability to use two SIM cards. The audience of buyers of this product is quite wide. This option is especially relevant for parents whose children are still small, but already want a smartphone. Also, such a smartphone will suit a business person who just needs communication and access to the media via the Internet.

Specifications

  • Operating system: Android 5.1.
  • SIM-cards: two, miniSIM (regular), the first slot has a SIM-Lock.
  • Screen: 4 "with a resolution of 800x480, TFT-TN
  • Cameras: main - 2 MP, front - 0.3 MP.
  • Processor: two cores, MediaTek MT6572a chip, frequency - 1.3 GHz.
  • Video adapter: Mali-400 MP.
  • Memory: 4 GB built-in (1.75 GB available), RAM - 512 MB.
  • Memory card slot: microSD up to 32 GB.
  • Support: the first slot is in 2G / 3G mode, the second slot is only in 2G mode.
  • Interfaces: Wi-Fi 802.11 b / g / n, 2.4 GHz, Bluetooth 4.0, MicroUSB.
  • FM radio: as an antenna - headset
  • Navigation: GPS, A-GPS.
  • Rechargeable battery: 1,500 mAh.
  • Dimensions: 125.4 x 64.5 x 10.9 mm, 111 g

Appearance

It looks simple and very practical. The body is made of hard plastic with rounded edges. On the sides of the model there is an insert in bronze or silver color, depending on the color of the device (there are 2 colors, black and white, respectively). The back surface of the device is corrugated, which allows it not to slip out of the hand.

Contents of delivery

The smartphone is compact in the hand. Its small size is an advantage, because it is very convenient for both adults and children. The package contains a headset, the sound quality is average, but sufficient for conversations. The smartphone also includes: a rechargeable battery, a charger with a USB cable - microUSB, a warranty card and instructions. The warranty, by the way, is 1 year, which already inspires confidence in the manufacturer.

The display of the smartphone has a TFT matrix, which allows the image to be kept at a level that suits the target audience of buyers. The screen resolution is 480 * 800 pixels. If you look at the display from the side, the picture loses contrast and color.

Performance

It should be noted right away that 512 MB of RAM is a low level. However, this is the standard for this price range. The smartphone works smoothly with many applications, except for some games. The built-in memory of 1.75 GB is usually not enough. Therefore, it is better to supplement the purchase of a smartphone with a microSD card (up to 32 GB).

Communication capabilities

The Tele2 Mini smartphone works in 2G and 3G networks. This model has two slots for SIM cards. One of them supports Tele2, and the second slot supports other operators. Also, only one SIM card supports the third generation network. You need to write that the subscriber will be able to call you only on an active SIM card.

Working hours

The device works autonomously for up to 3 hours if the conversation is ongoing. With constant use of the Internet, calls, work with applications, it will work for 1.5 days. If you don't use your smartphone so often, you can extend the battery life up to 3 days.

The main camera is 2 MP, which, in principle, was quite expected. There is no autofocus, but there is an LED flash. By and large, the camera is here as an additional function, nothing more. You can't make high-quality photos with it, but sometimes you need this one too. There is even a front camera with a resolution of just 0.3 MP.

After conducting this review, we can summarize that the Tele2 Mini smartphone will not disappoint the average user with performance, build quality and compact size. In terms of price-quality ratio, the device undoubtedly wins in the eyes of the buyer. This model can be used for calls, internet, correspondence and even some games at a fairly good level.

The Tele2 Mini mobile phone is the first branded smartphone from the mobile operator of the same name, which impressed users with its excellent value for money. Despite the fact that the device does not shine with ideal technical parameters, it has a modest design, it can be considered a benchmark in the line of "budget" smartphones, because its cost is only 1,890 rubles. You can buy this modern gadget in the tele2 operator's salons, on the company's official website, in online stores.

Positioning

If you are looking for a reliable 3G phone, then Tele2 Mini is a great alternative to Chinese phones from unknown manufacturers. The first thing that attracts buyers to the Tele2 Mini smartphone is the low price. The second is stable Internet access and a minimum set of essential functions. Such a mobile phone is perfect for work and people who want to buy a temporary phone with 3G support.

Due to the variety of color solutions (black and white body), Tele2 Mini phones are suitable for men, girls and even children. Compared to its followers Tele2 Midi and Maxi, it easily fits in a small palm, although the weight of the gadget is more than usual due to the dense filling. Due to the fact that the 2G signal is not available in the metropolitan area, inexpensive analogs are becoming unclaimed for buyers, and the Tele2 Mini smartphone, on the contrary, is gaining popularity.

Specifications

Having familiarized yourself with the technical parameters of the Tele2 Mini, you immediately understand that this is a device from the category of "state employees". Unlike Tele2 Maxi and Midi, there is an older version of Android, cameras with fewer pixels, a miniature but standard screen for budget smartphones and other features.

  • Navigation- GPS, A-GPS;
  • Battery capacity- 1500 mAh;
  • Smartphone dimensions- 12.5 * 6.5 * 0.9 cm;
  • Product weight- 111 grams.

In addition, it is worth noting the parameter of the maximum data reception speed in the 3G network, equal to 21.6 Mbps. The detailed review of the Tele2 Mini smartphone below will help you get acquainted with all the features of the user interface, display, camera, battery, operating time.

Equipment

The set of spare parts for Tele2 Mini is standard. The kit includes the smartphone itself, a USB cable for connecting to a computer or a charger adapter, instructions for use, headphones and a 0.7 A charger, a box with a phone imei. We advise you to arm yourself with a 2 A charger in advance so that the phone charges faster. On the smartphone screen, you will find a factory protective film as a nice bonus that does not require replacement. It will only have to be changed if the transparent sticker with characteristics is inaccurately torn off.

Design

The appearance of the device is not outstanding. It has two color variations of Tele2 Mini White / Black, a standard 4-inch screen, a rectangular body with slightly rounded edges. The downside of the model is the camera eye protruding on the back panel, which is not very convenient, because the already weak camera becomes scratched over time.

The placement of buttons is also no different from cheap smartphones. On the front panel, in addition to the display itself, there is a peephole for the front camera and a speaker for conversations, as well as touch keys (without backlighting). The volume and unlock keys are located on opposite side panels, at the top is the headphone jack, at the bottom - for the charger.

Other design features:

  • No gaps, dense back panel;
  • Corrugated back cover, which prevents the smartphone from slipping out of hand;
  • Removable battery;
  • Good sound, thanks to a well-made multimedia speaker grill;
  • The body is covered with a metallized coating;
  • Too tight, but moderately protruding buttons. To unlock or lock the screen, you have to press a key well.

Display

As in other low-budget gadgets, the screen of the Tele2 Mini smartphone has a TFT matrix. Despite this, the picture looks good, when you rotate the color gamut of the image on the display changes slightly, but insignificantly. With a strong tilt, a real inversion occurs with the colors, especially the changes are noticeable in dark pictures. The display itself has a blue tint, which becomes more visible when you set the standard wallpaper.

Unless you are spoiled for high quality images, the 233 ppi pixel density will not make you indignant. Tele2 Mini has an insensitive touchscreen and an ineffective oleophobic coating. The touch screen is capable of recognizing two simultaneous touches at once. When you quickly scroll through news on social networks, the touchscreen reacts either too slowly, or, conversely, works too quickly, which causes the display of the picture to suffer. As for the graphical interface, it is intuitive and quite bearable for a smartphone of this price.

Main and front camera

The first thing I want to note is the lack of automatic focus in the camera, although what else can you expect from the 2 MP. The front camera is pretty good, thanks to interpolation 0.3 megapixels can easily turn into 1-1.3 megapixels. The advantages of the main Tele2 Mini camera include:

  • Good white balance, some pictures have a slightly unnatural tint, but the quality of the photo itself is high;
  • The most successful photos and videos in daylight outdoors;
  • The average file size of a snapshot is 700 kilobytes;
  • High quality display of photographed text.

The disadvantages of the camera include terrible shots taken under artificial lighting indoors, they turn out to be dull and indistinct. To take a tolerable photo, you will have to turn on a bright light and take a long time to select the correct angle. The flash is terrible, but selfies are bearable, no worse than standard photos with the main camera. To improve the quality, do not forget to connect pixels in the settings, use 1 or 1.3 megapixels instead of 0.3.

Connection quality

The efficiency of the device is high. SMS and MMS are sent briskly, the sound in the speaker is good. Despite the fact that the Tele2 Mini does not provide access to the LTE network, the smartphone works perfectly in the 3G range. In addition to LTE, there is no support for DC HSPA +, so instead of the declared 21.6 Mbit per second, we get only about 14 Mbit when receiving data.

As for SIM cards, the first slot in the Tele2 smartphone is locked under the provider's SIM card. If desired, Tele2 Mini can be unlocked. To unlock the slot, you should use the help of professionals, although the device is cheap, it can function poorly after that.

The second slot is suitable for SIM-cards of any Russian operators with 2G support. As for downloading applications via the 3G network, programs with a large weight will not be downloaded. Watching videos on YouTube does not cause problems, this is a definite plus, you do not need to look for a modem or Wi-Fi router to connect to the Internet and watch video clips.

Memory, processor, performance

Only 512 MB of RAM on Tele2 Mini is provided to users, which is extremely small even for budget gadgets. At the same time, the interface is decent, does not slow down, the standard Tele2 TV and My Tele2 applications work well, like the popular programs from the Play Market. To expand the memory will help installing a memory card, the module for which is hidden under the back cover of the device.

The device is equipped with Android 5.1, which is stable and efficient. The smartphone almost does not freeze, does not crash from the system - it pleases. As for the command to install and open programs, it is worse here, the response speed is slow. After you have turned on your smartphone, you should immediately update the Android System WebView and restart the device so that all applications from the Play Store function correctly.

Many users complain that the Tele2 Mini firmware flies. You can change the firmware yourself, just find and download the appropriate programs on the Internet. They also provide a list of ways to bypass FRP. The smartphone has good compatibility with Chinese counterparts. After you have managed to reflash the phone and change the driver, you will have to restore the Google Account settings again. You can also flash the gadget in the official service of the Tele2 provider. Here you can give your smartphone for repair, if a breakdown occurs, get Root rights.

Another problem that Tele2 Mini users face is the loss of Google account data after resetting the device to factory settings. Periodic reset improves device performance, eliminates errors, but important data may be lost, and all accounts are automatically unlinked. When restoring data, the login and password must be saved in the phone's memory.

To reset Tele2 Mini to factory settings, press the volume up button and the lock key at the same time ("HARD RESET" function). The standard Recovery menu will be displayed in front of you.

Pros and cons of the device

Many reviews are based on user reviews of the Tele2 Mini. Through numerous forums, Tele2 subscribers learn all the pros and cons of operator smartphones, which makes it possible to understand whether it is worth buying this branded phone or not.

List of advantages of Tele2 Mini:

  • Fast connection to the 3G network;
  • The minimum amount of software waste;
  • Acceptable quality of MP3 melodies;
  • Laconic design;
  • The battery holds a charge well. A fully charged battery with an average load lasts a day;
  • Low price;
  • Bright screen;
  • Two sim cards.

Users refer to the list of shortcomings:

  • Frequent freezing of the device;
  • Spontaneous shutdown, reboot;
  • Slow launching of applications;
  • Weak camera.

Despite this, the price justifies the shortcomings, because budget smartphones like the Tele2 Mini are bought exclusively for communication, and not for high-quality photos or games.

Modern mobile devices are relatively easy to use, but anything can happen. The phone does not see the Tele2 SIM card - not a frequent complaint from subscribers, but nevertheless it happens, so we will consider possible and solutions to the problem

Briefly on the topic

The phone does not see the Tele2 SIM card, what to do and how to fix it:

  1. Check the slot of the device for dirt, if there is, remove it.
  2. Check the smartphone and its slot for mechanical damage. If there is, contact the service.
  3. Check the SIM for contamination, if present, remove it.
  4. Check the SIM for mechanical damage. If necessary, order a re-release.

First a little test

First of all, we need to find out where the "legs grow" from the problem - the phone is to blame or the SIM card. To do this, you need to do a few simple manipulations:

  • Turn off the device, insert another SIM card into it, turn it on. If it works, it means that the problem is in the SIM that is not recognized.
  • If the Android smartphone does not see another SIM card Tele2 or a network, we take another device and launch it with both cards in turn. Everything is good - it means that something is wrong with the previous device, and the performance of the SIM card has been confirmed.

Further actions are based on the results of these tests: we "treat" the phone or SIM-ku.

In another article on our website you will find information on how

SIM card

One of the reasons why the tablet does not see the Tele2 SIM card is its blocking. Think about how long ago the card was last used. This operator has a rule: if there are no funds movements on the account for 6 months (writing off a monthly fee, making paid calls, sending SMS, etc.), the service contract is terminated. In this case, the number becomes free and can be assigned to another subscriber.
What to do about it. It will be impossible to "revive" this particular SIM. You can only try to get back the old number. If he is not busy, then you simply draw up a new service contract with the same number, but a re-release of plastic.

Mechanical reasons:

  • Damaged contacts. It so happens that the iPhone does not see the Tele2 SIM card due to a deep scratch, crack, or the consequences of unsuccessful cutting of plastic around the chip for micro or nano. Only the re-issue of the SIM card will help here.
  • Contamination of contacts. We moisten a cotton swab in alcohol, squeeze it slightly and wipe the metal on the plastic. Insert into the device after drying.

Telephone

The first thing to pay attention to here is the state of the slot. He can be:

  • Contaminated. We apply the same technique with a cotton swab and alcohol.
  • Damaged mechanically. There is nothing to do here on your own. Only contacting the service.

And we will mention one more reason, which is not very common today, why the phone does not see SIMka Tele2, but sees others: firmware for one operator. Some time ago, the "topic" of selling inexpensive devices with special, preferential rates was quite popular among cellular companies. But such phones could work only with "native" SIM cards. That is, if it was plastic Beeline, MTS or Megafon, then Tele2 simply will not be recognized. Unfortunately, in this case nothing can be fixed.

Note: if the phone has recently been dropped, flooded with water or otherwise exposed, then there is a high probability that it is precisely the problem of its damage. The most obvious sign is that the device does not accept SIM cards from any operator.

If you want to know how old you can get a Tele2 SIM card - read the article.

In just a couple of days after its appearance on the market, Tele2 Mini was able to gain popularity as a device that has good characteristics for a favorable price. The phone is very good in its parameters, however it works only with a Tele2 SIM card. Because of this, customers of other operators have to look for similar options among other phones. But there are methods thanks to which you can insert a SIM card of another operator into this phone model. Thanks to these methods, the phone will work with any SIM card. There are official and unofficial ways to change your SIM card. They are all free.

Unlocking at the operator (official way)

One of the easiest ways is to contact the Tele2 operator. Not many people know that all cellular operators must provide a phone unlocking service. In the event that you did not use the service at the time of purchase, you can ask about it in the salon at any time. In order to carry out the procedure, you will need to provide a passport, a check, as well as a box and documents that were issued with the phone.

  1. Contact the Tele2 office where the phone was purchased or any that is nearby;
  2. Write a statement that the employee will provide you with.
  3. After that, a code will be sent to your phone. It can be sent by SMS or e-mail;
  4. After the code arrives, you need to insert a new SIM card and turn on the phone. The screen will ask you to enter the password. There you need to enter the code that previously came in SMS or mail.

Attention! Sometimes such an application is filled out by an employee of the Tele2 office on his own.

After these steps are completed, you can use your smartphone without any restrictions.

Unlocking unofficially

The phone contains only one locked Tele2 SIM card slot. In the event that you use only one SIM card from another operator, then it can be inserted into the second slot. In this case, your phone will work on two SIM cards. However, some people use not one, but two SIM cards from other operators, so it is necessary to carry out the procedure to unlock.

There are two options for unofficial ways to unlock Tele2:

  • Unlocking by entering a password;
  • Unlocking by flashing the phone.

It will be easier to use the first method. For it, you need to do the following:

  • Turn off the device;
  • Remove the battery from it;
  • Insert a SIM card of another operator into the first slot;
  • Reinsert the battery;
  • Switch on the phone;
  • A password prompt will appear on the screen. But you will not need to contact the TELE2 office, since there is a universal code - 34127856. You need to enter it;
  • Reboot device.

Cellular is available for use with any SIM card.

Attention! The use of this method does not entail any sanctions from the operator, because unlocking is provided during the manufacture of the phone. Tele2 cannot punish those who unlock on their own.

The second method is flashing the smartphone. Before proceeding with it, you need to think over everything to the smallest detail, because in the event of an error, the phone can turn into a brick.

Warning! Tele2 has the right to refuse the guarantee, because it will not be able to make sure that its inoperative state was not caused by pirated firmware.

In order to start flashing, you need to install Recovery. It can be found on the forums, where there will also be detailed instructions that will help you install the archive.

To install you should:

  1. Unpack the archive. To do this, turn off the phone and, taking out the battery, connect it to the computer;
  2. Install the drivers, then restart the smartphone;
  3. Process the cell using the flash tool by installing a new firmware;
  4. Restart your phone again.
  5. You also need to patch the device. This is done as follows:
  6. Download the archive in a patch to a special folder BACKUPS \ Tele2_Mini \ LD_unlock;
  7. Turn off your smartphone;
  8. Press the buttons to turn on the device and increase the volume at the same time;
  9. Go to the Recovery menu and select Mount;
  10. Check the System item and select Select Storage there;
  11. Go to the main menu and click Restore, as well as restore the System partition;
  12. Reboot device.
