How it works? Turn on the cartoon and click three times on the Home button (round under the screen). A window with small settings will appear. At the bottom of the screen, the "Press" icon will appear, and next to it is a switch. Move the switch to the "Off" position and press the "Home" button once to exit the settings.
After that iPad screen won't respond to touch and you can give the tablet to the child with peace of mind.
To disable this mode, you must again press the "Home" button three times and enter the password that you specified at the very beginning in the Guide access settings.
It is worth noting that Guided Access allows you not only to block the entire screen from touching, but also to set a specific area. This is convenient for blocking the possibility of a child during the game inadvertently bought or downloaded something or used inappropriate functions in the application. It is enough just to draw with your finger in the place of the screen where it should not react.

So, to enable the function of Guide access itself, go to Settings — The main — Universal access... Find the section Learning process — Guide access.

I really don't like it when buttons leading to Facebook, Twitter or the developer's website are placed in children's applications. I believe that these buttons should be done in the settings section, which can only be accessed by parents, but not children! So, now you can circle such buttons and even if the child presses on them, nothing will happen.
So, I circled the buttons Settings and More Russian apps... They will become inactive for the child.
Also in the settings you can disable any pressing or exclude reaction to device movement (auto-rotate screen). For example, you can prohibit all clicks when a child is watching cartoons. IMHO, very convenient.
