Mixing console download torrent. Free Virtual DJ software to turn your computer into a DJ mixing console

Today, a personal computer mixer is an essential tool for all modern music lovers.

Beginners can learn to control music and create your own real masterpieces.

Professionals may also be surprised at the functionality these applications provide. And now about everything in more detail.

Content:

What is it about

To begin with, there are devices such as mixing consoles. They have a variety of buttons, switches, and other controls that let you work with sounds.

Of course, Adobe Audition CC is a full-fledged professional one, but there are much simpler solutions that also allow you to perform the most complex tasks related to editing audio files, including mixing them.

Its main task is to create.

Besides recording and creating tracks, FL Studio's list of features also includes mastering, mixing and editing files in other ways.

The FL Studio toolbox has a huge number of effects and filters.

The user can create arrangements, synthesize various sounds and perform many other similar operations.

Among other things, there is support for plugins. And on the Internet you can find a great variety of them.

Some of them are written by common users who are into music.

The most famous of them are Newtone, which allows you to correct vocals, and Edison, a plug-in for adjusting the tempo, etc.

With all this broadest set of tools, FL Studio does not create too much workload on the computer.

And this program will be able to run on a much weaker machine than the one that is suitable for using Adobe Audition CC.

The interface can also be customized as you like, including adjusting updates.

Here are some more positives:

We are used to the fact that good creative software comes for a fee, but this is not at all the case. In this article, we will suggest a few free programs for those who are fond of DJing, but cannot afford a real mixing console.

Tip # 1: Virtual DJ

The free Virtual DJ 8 program in its modern version is almost a complete virtual mixing console. It includes all the functions you need to enter the world of remixes - including the purely professional ones.

Free Virtual DJ Utility for PC

With Virtual DJ, you can not only mix songs using the built-in crossfader, but also equalize their sound, focusing on the BPM (number of beats per minute).

The program offers a variety of samples and sound effects to get the party going. For real pros, loop-functions are available to give the transitions between tracks an original sound.

A special feature of Virtual DJ is the ability to transfer audio files using timecode to virtual turntables and mix them on a real console connected to a PC, and vice versa. This functionality is called "scratch". In order to truly "feel vinyl" in this way, you need special equipment, but as a bonus you will have the opportunity to digitize your collection of vinyl records.

Tip # 2: Audacity

Audacity is a wonderful virtual recording studio for Windows. The program has been improving for many years, which could not but affect the result: it is hardly possible to find a more sophisticated audio editor now, and, moreover, absolutely free.

Audacity for Windows

Audacity works with all known audio formats (MP3, Ogg / Vorbis, WAV, MIDI, AIFF). It allows you to mix musical compositions, add sound effects, convert audio files, change the playback speed. Delay and compression effects are already built into the program, and many new ones can be added with VST support.

The audio recording function allows you to record sound from a microphone and save audio files to disk. In addition, using the included noise filter, you can quickly remove any noise from the recorded track.

Tip # 3: CrossDJ Free

CrossDJ is designed for professional DJs, but has a free basic version that can be used without restrictions.

CrossDj Free for PC

The program allows you to play your digital collection of records on two decks, providing smooth transitions between songs using the equalizer and crossfader. On board the program has almost all modern functions for overlaying one composition on another: automatic synchronization via BMP, breakpoints, filters and loop-functions.

The free basic version of CrossDJ comes with some limitations: for example, the mixer only supports two channels and offers only three effects. In addition, audio recording, sampling, and MIDI control are not available.

CrossDJ Free, in general, does not reinvent the wheel, but it should be noted that it is as suitable for advanced users as for beginners.

Clue # 4: Zulu DJ

Zulu DJ is a free remixing software designed primarily for beginners or very economical DJs.

Zulu DJ software

The program provides all the necessary tools to extract bits from columns. You can add variety to your sound by modifying the sound of your songs using the preset filters. There is a built-in crossfader to create cool transitions from one song to the next, and a BPM counter is also supported.

In addition, if after a long DJ set you want to sit back and just enjoy the music, Zulu DJ can be used as a regular media player that will automatically "glue" tracks together.

The program has one major drawback: during installation, it adds a lot of extraneous junk to the Start menu, which you then have to remove manually. If you do not want to receive unnecessary browser extensions during installation, be careful and do not agree to questionable suggestions from the installer.

Tip # 5: Schatti's AudioMixer

Schatti's AudioMixer is a free virtual console with 10 mixing channels. For novice users trying their hand at controlling a mixing console, this program will be quite suitable.

Schatti's AudioMixer

The program allows you to load up to 10 tracks and play them simultaneously or separately, as well as mix with each other. In addition to the 10-channel mixer, AudioMixer has a CD channel, an audio recorder for slicing tracks, and a tracklist.

The weak point of AudioMixer is its increased control sensitivity. If your hands are shaking, it can be difficult to adjust the settings. But in general, the program has all the basic functions to feel like a master of remixes.

UltraMixer - popular music mixing software on the computer. With its help, you can turn mixing music tracks into a fun process. The program is available in both paid and free versions, the capabilities of which are quite enough for novice musicians and DJs. UltraMixer supports almost all popular audio formats: MP3, WMA, OGG, WAV, FLAC, ASF, and MIDI.

Main features of UltraMixer

UltraMixer interface is clear and simple. It looks like a multipurpose Oasis mixer consisting of two digital turntables. The usual (but completely inconvenient) imitators of vinyl players in such programs are not here.

UltraMixer has a 3-band equalizer, file browser, as well as special functions for mixing, changing the tempo of the music (accelerate / decelerate), create smooth transitions between songs. For the program to function properly, a good sound card is required, preferably an external one, but you can also use the usual built-in ones.

Also UltraMixer can be used as a media center. The program has functions for managing the library of music files stored on the hard drive and can play the contents of audio CDs like a regular player. The program is updated automatically via the Internet.

Launch UltraMixer Free Mode

AT UltraMixer has three modes of operation, depending on cost.

When you start the program for the first time, you will be prompted to choose one of three activation options - a free version or two paid ones (Basic and Professional). The Professional Edition is intended only for experienced musicians and DJs.

To use the free version of UltraMixer, select the free version. Then wait 25 seconds, after which the "Start UltraMixer" option will be activated and the program will work like the free UltraMixer edition.

I have a few acquaintances who love, boast about what serious DJs they are. Since I am “you” with music, therefore, I firmly believed them, until at one moment I got tired of it all, and decided not to try it myself, how difficult it is. I was too lazy to look for someone who had the necessary equipment, so I decided to get by with a program that would help to mix sound files. A short search has shown that the best free software for beginners and advanced DJs is this, or as it is officially called Virtual DJ Home.

The installation is standard, the license agreement and the offer to leave everything by default or choose which components should be installed where. Setting up these items is made quite inconvenient, you have to figure out for 30 seconds and look for where to press. Together with Virtual DJ, they offer two additional utilities for ripping tracks from vinyl to MP3 files and clips from DVD discs, you choose to play or not. For dessert, they will offer to install the Ask toolbar, which we refuse. We are waiting for a few seconds and you can start your first musical experiments.

The most important thing in Virtual DJ is to drop the necessary tracks that you are going to mix, and then a matter of technique and imagination. We drag the necessary files with the mouse to the right and left sides to where it says “Drag the track to this player”, wait a few seconds until the track is processed and you can start creating.

The user at his disposal we get two turntables with the same set of buttons under which there are panels like a regular player, between which there is a place for a mixer. Individual samples and effects can be used for each track. Then everything is in your hands, we boldly pull and move everything, finding our own unique style. Explaining what to do is pointless, you need to try and figure it out yourself.

The lower part was given under the switching panel, where you can access the explorer, configure the work of samples and effects for the entire mix, plus additional programs with which you can record sound from the line-in, video, CD disc and broadcast your work in real time with streaming audio ... Most of these programs are of little value, have too limited capabilities, and have to use workarounds until you get them to work.

The strong point of Virtual DJ is its support for external extensions, which allow for almost infinity. This includes skins, support for the program to work with external MIDI controllers, installation of additional samples, sound and graphic effects. But there is a problem, it is impossible to download them for the free version from the official website, you have to go the wrong way to look for alternative channels.

If you intend to use video files as source material, be careful. Your obedient servant for the Slavic breadth of the soul added a full-length film to see what happens, after a couple of minutes the computer began to slow down terribly. A short investigation showed that the program simply ate up all the RAM, and had to be nailed through the "Task Manager".

Another annoying thing is that every time you start, a pop-up window prompts you to enter your username and password to register on the Virtual DJ website.

In the settings, one half is reserved for purely sound settings, the great honor of the purpose of which is not clear, the second is the standard set that is found in every program.

Virtual DJ turned out to be a fantastic thing for beginners, a few minutes of experimenting and you get a completely digestible cacophony of sounds. Everything is done as intuitively as possible, that for a start, you can even completely do without studying the instructions, poking at different buttons, pulling sliders and turning the knobs, rejoicing at the result as a child. I recommend to everyone who wants to try themselves as a DJ.

The program works great on 32 and 64 bit operating systems. The interface has been translated into several dozen languages, including Russian, although only a few items have been translated, the rest is good old English.
