This method is suitable for those cases when we do not have time to carry out step-by-step zeroing of the cartridge, according to the method described earlier. Disable ink level monitoring. This can be done by resetting the chips built into the cartridges. They are precisely designed to determine the ink level and prevent refilling of the cartridge. But resetting the chip is quite difficult.

Wait until one cartridge runs out of ink and a warning message appears on the printer/multifunction device display, prompting you to continue or stop printing. In this window, click “OK”, or click on the Stop/Reset button (the button looks like a red/orange triangle in a circle). Printing will resume. Once one of the cartridges is completely out of ink, a message will reappear on the printer screen prompting you to replace the cartridge. Remove the plastic cover that covers the toner refill hole. To refill a cartridge, you will need approximately 140 grams of HP 1200 toner. Use a funnel to pour toner into half of the cartridge. Then close the cap. Align the two halves of the cartridge together and insert the mounting pins so that their edges are flush with the body.
