Firmware update for Samsung Galaxy smartphones. Samsung SM-P600 SM-P6000ZWEATO device drivers: main operating systems Samsung galaxy note p600 64gb firmware

Hard reset did not help (reset to factory settings), this is the first time I encountered such a problem, so the first solution was to turn to experts for help. I took him to one miracle workshop, where he lay for almost half a year .. They could not find the firmware in any way .. My patience came to an end, I took it. On the way home, I brought in another pro. during the day they promised to do it. In the evening to come to pick up - it turns out they did not ask. The answer is the same - they cannot find the firmware. Returned in the same condition that I gave them.

Well, well, it was not, I thought and decided to make my contribution to the repair of this unit, it will not be worse. After rummaging through the forums at home, after reading how and what such devices are sewn, I realized that the most important thing is to guess the firmware version. There were a lot of firmware options for similar Samsung Galaxy Nout fakes on the net, so I started downloading and trying them.

The most popular firmware for this device on the network turned out to be this: MaPan_MX913_DC_Jelly_Bean_4.1os_Root_Firmware_D20130601_UP and MaPan_MX913_DC_Jelly_Bean_4.2_Os_Root_Firmware_J20131101 , but they completely lacked touchscreen support. That is, everything is beautiful, albeit in Chinese, but you can't move your finger across the screen, only from the keyboard you can control the tablet, which turned out to be very inconvenient. I started looking for other options. On the site W3bsit3-dns.comand other similar sites, I found a lot of useful things. And after trying 100500 firmware, and did not find one that would work with the tablet normally. Some worked with a touchscreen, but it had a dead zone with a centimeter from below, others had the calibration of pressing the screen down, that is, a centimeter below you had to poke your finger, others lacked a motion sensor or an accelerator, which were in Mexican or completely on Arabic and so on. In general, I got tired of looking for a pig in a poke and I remembered that when I was taking apart this tablet, I took several pictures of its insides, and decided to look at the markings at them. The fact that there was a miracle processor

All Winner A13 I remembered, and it didn't give me anything, but what else were there for the inscriptions ... After reviewing the pictures, I found this cherished inscription on one of the boards of an unnamed tablet: "For-Fun Q3 Main v1.4".

Well, now there was at least some other clue. Going to the software repository on mail ru through the same wonderful site w3bsit3-dns.com, I found several firmware for "For-Fun Q3 Main v1.4". Well, the matter remained small. After downloading the one that weighed more, 624 meters, I poured it into my tablet, waited impatiently for it to reboot, and was upset, the tablet hung on the same inscription "android", on the second attempt I was lucky by uploading this "ZET6223WTAROM" weight in 446 megabytes, firmware, I got 100% result! The tablet is working. Everything, absolutely everything worked as it should. Download speed, screen, touchscreen and Wi-Fi - everything worked perfectly. I didn’t even imagine how you can upload many cool applications to this China! The firmware was assembled on android 4.0.4, which also pleased me, that is, it is more fresh.

Well, now, in order, how and how I did it all.

What we need: a computer with the Widows XP or Windows 7 32-bit operating system, the Phoenix suit program, a cable for connecting the tablet, firmware and the tablet itself.

First you need to do some preliminary preparation - setting up the tablet driver, both enabled and in firmware mode.
To do this, do the following:

1) put the Phoenix suit program on the computer (download)

2) We connect the included tablet, we hear the sound of the connected device, in the equipment we see the ANDROID device

we right-click on it shki, choose - Update driver

In the next window, select what is shown in the figure below

click what is shown below:

click further:

then "Install from disk":

then click on k button "REVIEW" and specify the path to the folder with the installed program Phoenix Suit \\ Drivers \\ AW_Driver

And click "OPEN", select usbdrv from the AW_Driver folder, again click on "Open"

and then on "OK"

The following window will appear with the driver that must be installed, without paying attention to the warning that it does not have a digital signature, press "NEXT"

the equipment will be installed and a message that everything is ready.

All the same actions must be performed with the tablet in the UPDATE mode (this is when it is turned off, hold down the "Volume +" button, hold it and connect it via the cable to the PC, the red indicator on the tablet lights up, but the screen does not light up. The device will be definitely unknown , follow the same steps above). Otherwise, Phoenix Suit will not see the tablet and will not be able to flash it.

We launch it, and do not forget to make sure that no errors occurred during the installation process, the goodle driver was installed

2) download this firmware (download) or another.

Now the actual firmware:
Launch the Phoenix suit program, click on the "anchor" icon, select the firmware, connect the cable to the computer via USB, then on the DISCONNECTED tablet press the "Volume +" button, hold it, connect the cable to the tablet and quickly press (without releasing the "Volume + "Back" button, the firmware will start automatically after the device is detected.

Android devices offered by the famous manufacturer Samsung are considered to be one of the most reliable gadgets. The performance margin of devices released several years ago allows them to successfully perform their functions today, you just need to keep the software part of the device up to date. Below we will consider the methods of flashing a generally successful and balanced tablet - Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 GT-N8000.

The hardware characteristics of the Samsung GT-N8000 allow the tablet to remain an up-to-date solution for undemanding users, and the official software shell as a whole is a pretty good solution, albeit overloaded with additional applications. In addition to the official version of the system, modified unofficial operating systems are available for the product in question.

All responsibility for the result of following the instructions from this material lies solely with the user who manipulates the device!

Regardless of the purposes for which the Samsung GT-N8000 firmware is planned to be carried out, some preparatory operations must be performed before carrying out operations with the device memory. This will allow you to avoid errors during the direct installation of Android, and will also allow you to save time spent on the procedure.

Drivers

The most radical and effective methods of installing Android and restoring the device in question require the use of specialized applications. To be able to pair the tablet and computer, you need drivers, the installer of which can be downloaded from the Samsung Developers website:

Getting root rights

In general, to install the OS in Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1, obtaining Superuser rights on the device is not required, but root rights allow you to create a full-fledged backup and use a very simple way to install the system into the tablet, as well as fine-tune the already installed system. It is very easy to get privileges on this device. For this, a tool is used.

Working with the application is described in the material on our website, available at the link:

Backup

Any procedures involving interference with the system sections of an Android device carry the risk of losing information contained in the device, including user data. In addition, in some cases, when installing the OS in the device, formatting the memory partitions is simply necessary for the correct installation and operation of Android in the future. Therefore, before installing the system software, be sure to save important information, that is, create a backup copy of everything that may be needed during the further use of the device.

In addition to other methods of creating a backup, it is advisable to use applications created by Samsung, including to reinsure the user against losing important information. We are talking about a program for pairing the manufacturer's Android devices with a PC - Smart Switch. You can download the solution from the manufacturer's official website:

Additionally.
If you want to fine-tune the process of archiving information, including the path on the PC disk where the backup files will be stored, as well as the stored data types, use the window "Settings"by clicking on the button "Yet" in Samsung Smart Switch and selecting the appropriate item in the drop-down menu.

EFS partition backup

Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 GT-N8000 is equipped with a SIM-card module, which allows users of the model to use the mobile Internet and even make calls. The section of the device memory, which contains the parameters that ensure communication, including IMEI, is called "EFS"... This area of \u200b\u200bmemory during experiments with firmware can be erased or damaged, which will make it impossible to use mobile communications, so it is highly desirable to create a dump of this section. It is very easy to do this with the help of a special application available in - EFS ☆ IMEI ☆ Backup.

For the program to work on the device, Superuser privileges must be obtained!

Samsung does not give users of its devices the opportunity to download firmware from an official resource, this is the manufacturer's policy. At the same time, you can get any official version of the system software for Samsung devices on the specialized Samsung Updates website, the creators of which carefully save the packages with the OS and provide access to them for everyone.

When choosing the official Samsung firmware, you should take into account the binding of the software to the region for which it is intended. The region code is named CSC (Customer Sales Code). For Russia, there are packages marked "SER".

Firmware

Reinstallation and / or updating of the Android version may be required for various reasons and carried out in different ways. In any state of the device, choosing the firmware and installation method, one should be guided by the ultimate goal, that is, the desired version of Android, under which the device will function after the manipulations.

Method 1: Official utilities

The only way to officially get the ability to manipulate the GT-N8000 system software is to use the software released by Samsung to control the functions of the brand's Android devices. There are two such solutions - a well-known and relatively new solution - Smart Switch. There are no fundamental differences in the functions of applications when pairing with devices, but the programs support different versions of Android. If the tablet is running Android version up to 4.4, use Kies, if KitKat - use Smart Switch.

  1. Download, install and run Samsung Kies.
  2. Connect device to PC
  3. After determining the tablet, the program will automatically check for updates for the installed Android, and if there is a more current version of the system, Kies will issue a corresponding notification. In the request window, click "Further".
  4. In the next window, after reading the requirements and getting confidence in their compliance with the situation, click "Refresh".
  5. The further process is fully automated and does not require user intervention. The update includes several stages:

  6. Wait for Kies' message about the completion of the manipulations,

after which the tablet will reboot into the updated Android automatically.

  7. Reconnect the USB cable and make sure the update was successful.

Kies will inform you that you need to download and install a new solution for controlling your tablet from a PC - SmartSwitch.

Smart Switch

  1. Download Samsung Smart Switch from the manufacturer's official website.
  2. Run the tool.
  3. Connect the device and the computer with a USB cable.
  4. After determining the model in the application and if there is a system software update on Samsung servers, Smart Switch will notify you accordingly. Click the button "Update".
  5. Confirm that you are ready to start the process using the button "Proceed" in the appeared request window.
  6. Review the requirements that the situation must meet before starting the update process and click "Everything is confirmed"if the system instructions are followed.
  7. Further operations are performed by the program automatically and include the stages presented by:

  8. Upon completion of the manipulations, the Smart Switch will show a confirmation window,

and the tablet will automatically boot into Android.

Additionally. Initialization

In addition to updating the official version of the Samsung GT-N8000 operating system, using SmartSwitch, you can completely reinstall Android on the tablet, delete all data from it, and thus return the device to the “out of the box” state in software, but with the latest official version of the software on board ...

Method 2: Mobile Odin

The above official method of updating the Samsung GT-N8000 software does not give the user ample opportunity to change the system version. For example, a rollback to an earlier firmware using the official software offered by the developer is impossible, as is a serious change in the system software or overwriting of individual sections of the device's memory. Similar manipulations are carried out using other specialized tools, the simplest of which in terms of application is the Android application Mobile Odin.

For serious memory operations on the Galaxy Note 10.1, if Mobile Odin is used, you don't even need a PC, but the device must be rooted. The proposed tool is available in the Play Market.

As an example, we will roll back the version of the official version of the system of the considered tablet PC from 4.4 to Android 4.1.2. You can download the archive from the OS by the link:

  1. Unpack the package obtained from the link above and copy the file to the device's memory card.
  2. Install and run Mobile Odin, root the application.
  3. Download tool add-ons that will allow you to install firmware. The corresponding request window will appear when you first start the application, click the button "Download"

and wait until the modules are installed.

  4. Select item "Open file ..." in the list of options on the main screen of Mobile Odin by scrolling down a little.
  5. Specify the item "External SD-card" in the window for choosing a repository with a file intended for installation.
  6. Click the file name N8000XXCMJ2_N8000OXECMK1_N800XXCLL1_HOME.tar.md5previously copied to the memory card.
  7. Be sure to check the checkboxes in order. "Wipe data and cache" and Wipe Dalvik cache... This will delete all user information from the tablet's memory, but is necessary for a smooth rollback of the version.
  8. Click "Flash firmware" and confirm the request that you are ready to start the system reinstallation process.
  9. Mobile Odin will carry out further manipulations automatically:

  10. Perform initial system setup and restore data if necessary.
  11. After completing the manipulations, the tablet PC is ready for operation under the control of the Android version of the selected version.

Method 3: Odin

The most effective and versatile tool for flashing Android devices Samsung is a program for a PC. With its help, you can install any version of the official firmware into the tablet in question. Also, this wonderful flasher can be an effective tool for restoring inoperable GT-N8000 software.

You can download the archive with Odin for Galaxy Note 10.1 firmware from the link:

Those users who will have to use the program for the first time are advised to familiarize themselves with the material, which sets out all the main points of using the tool:

Service firmware

The most radical method for reinstalling Samsung GT-N8000 firmware is to use a multi-file (service) firmware with a PIT file (memory re-partitioning) to overwrite partitions. You can download the archive with such a solution at the link:

  1. Uninstall the Kies and Smart Switch programs if they are installed on the system.
  2. Unpack the Odin archive,

as well as a package with multi-file firmware.

The path to directories with Odin and files intended for writing to the device's memory sections should not contain Cyrillic characters!

  3. Run One and add components to the program by clicking on the buttons

and pointing the files in Explorer according to the table:

  4. Using the button "PIT" specify the path to the file P4NOTERF_EUR_OPEN_8G.pit
  5. Put the device into software download mode. For this:
  6. Connect the USB cable previously connected to the PC port to the Galaxy Note 10.1 connector. The device should be identified in the program as a blue colored field "ID: COM" and the displayed port number.
  7. Make sure that all of the above points are followed exactly and click "Start"... Operations for re-partitioning and transferring files to the appropriate sections of the Samsung GT-N8000 memory, the Odin program will automatically.

The main thing is not to interrupt the procedure, everything is done quite quickly.

  8. When the rewriting of the system partitions is complete, the status field will display "PASS", and in the log field - "All threads completed"... The device will restart automatically.
  9. Disconnect the USB cable from the device and close Odin. The initial boot after a full overwrite of the system partitions of the GT-N8000 takes quite a long time. After the firmware, you will need to carry out the initial system configuration.

Single file firmware

Less effective in recovery "Ripped off" devices, but more secure when used for normal reinstallation of Android in Samsung GT-N8000 is single-file firmware installed via Odin. Downloading a package with such an OS based on Android 4.1 for the device in question is available at the link:

Method 4: Custom OS

The manufacturer Samsung does not make users of its Android devices too happy with the release of updated versions of the system software. The latest official OS for the model in question is based on the outdated Android 4.4 KitKat, which does not allow us to call the software part of the Samsung GT-N8000 modern.

It is still possible to upgrade the Android version, as well as get a lot of new features on the device in question, but only using modified unofficial versions of the operating system.

For Galaxy Note 10.1, many different custom solutions have been created from well-known commands and ports from enthusiastic users. The installation process for any custom is the same and requires two steps.

Step 1: Install TWRP

To be able to install modified firmware into Samsung GT-N8000, you need a special recovery environment. The universal and rightfully considered the best solution for the model in question is.

You can download the archive with the necessary recovery file for installation from the link below, and the installation of the environment itself is performed through Odin.

Unexpectedly for myself, quite recently I had a chance to encounter a powerful Samsung tablet from the Galaxy Note N8000 series with 64Gb, and to be more precise, I had a chance to encounter a fake of this model.

About a week ago the phone rang. An acquaintance called me and told me that he was offered to buy a new tablet for only $ 250. At that time he was interested in the real cost of the tablet Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 N8000 64Gb 3G, to which I answered him with data obtained from Yandex Market - the price of a new tablet varies from 7.9 to 9.5 million Belarusian rubles ($ 800 - $ 970).

For the sake of interest, I took a look at the characteristics of this model.

Features of the tablet Samsung Galaxy Note N8000 64Gb

  • 4-core processor 1400 MHz
  • 2 Gigabytes of RAM
  • 64 GB of internal memory
  • 10.1-inch screen
  • High screen resolution - 1280 by 800 pixels
  • 2 cameras
  • Case with separate keyboard
  • Bluetooth, Wi-Fi and other gadgets
The model is more than solid, and then I even envied that someone would get such a toy for mere pennies.

According to my friend, this the tablet was purchased at the beginning of the month in the city of Moscow, but now the owner has a need for money and therefore sells it. An acquaintance said that this tablet even has warranty card and a receipt from the store with the seal "Euroet", which in principle excludes the possibility of counterfeiting.

Omitting the details, he bought this tablet for $ 150, and he got such a discount after he said that he needed to connect it to a computer and check everything. Neither one nor the other had time, so they agreed on this.

A little later, a friend of mine brought this tablet to me for testing, but at that time I had things to do, and I still had to go to training. In the end, I was able to start checking the tablet only late in the evening, and here all the fun began.

How do I check my tablet?

When I got home, I tried to turn on the tablet, but I didn't manage to do it the first time. It turned out that the battery of the Galaxy Note N8000 tablet was completely discharged.

I connected it via USB to my computer, the charging indicator lit up on the screen and then I was able to start the device for the first time.

Cool - everything works, I opened the applications, clicked the settings, connected the tablet to WiFi, used the Internet and even played some games installed by the previous owner. During such work, the tablet turned off by itself several times, and the battery charge level constantly jumped in an incomprehensible way - this alarmed me somewhat. Later, I blamed all the problems on the discharged battery, turned off the tablet and left it to charge.

When my friend came back for a tablet, he asked me to throw him a couple of films and imagine my surprise when, instead of 64 gigabytes, my computer recognized only 2.

In the tablet settings, the internal memory and another 64 gig were displayed, but for some reason not all worked.

I decided that n8000 tablet lacks drivers... There was indeed an unrecognized device labeled "Android" in Device Manager.

I climbed on samsung official website, I chose the device I needed, downloaded and installed the Samsung Kies 3 program with drivers on my computer, and immediately ran into a new riddle. The thing is that the device was not recognized by the program at all, at the moment when my smartphone Samsung Galaxy S 2 was perfectly detected.

I'm sitting in a dead end - I don't understand what this tablet needs, what it lacks. In general, I fiddled with him for about 2-3 more hours before I began to think that he might even be a banal fake.

I visited the legendary portal about mobile devices w3bsit3-dns.com, in search of useful information, I tried to update the operating system of the tablet, tried to reflash it and eventually even did (full reset), but never got any results.

The next day, I called another friend who is also involved in computer technology and tried to find out if he had encountered a similar problem. It turned out that he was stacking and directed me in the right direction. He said it was fake.

How to distinguish a real tablet from a fake?

For a while, I searched the Internet for any related information on how to distinguish a real tablet from a fake, in particular how to identify a fake Samsung Galaxy Note N8000.

1. The original tablet, the camera is centered - for a fake it is shifted to a corner.
2. A real tablet Samsung Galaxy Note N8000 screen resolution 1280x800 - fake resolution is much lower. In my case, it was 960 by 600 - in other words, the shortcuts and app icons were just huge.
3. Fake tablet models don't have GPS... Try turning it on and everything will fall into place at once.
4. Original Samsung smartphones and tablets in "naked" mode equipped with special applications like Samsung Apps, ChatON, Group Cast, etc. at the moment when the functionality of the fake versions is significantly curtailed.
5. IMEI code certainly not an indicator, nevertheless, it is always present in new and real devices, and for fakes it is usually written "unknown" instead of it - unknown.
6. Fake Samsung tablets not recognized in original Samsung Kies.

A bit of myself and pictures

I am sure if you dig deeper on the Internet you can find many more ways with which you can identify a fake, however, in this case, for me, the very fact of the spread of such tablets became a kind of discovery.

Ok here my friend bought a tablet right from his hands on the street, but, it turns out, there have been cases when such models were quietly “vparyl” to customers in fairly solid stores like “Svyaznoy”. Where is the world heading?

And yes, by the way, after realizing and accepting the fact that the purchased Samsung Galaxy Note N8000 64Gb tablet turned out to be a fake, I again asked my friend to show the warranty card and the receipt from the store.

At first glance, everything is as it should, the amount is the same on all documents, a check attached with a stapler to the warranty card, a seal, as is usually done in stores, is applied to the corner - everything is according to the rules. But if you take a closer look, it turns out that the booklet for the tablet for some reason comes from Samsung Galaxy TAB and not from Samsung Galaxy Note, and for some reason the same IMEI code is not spelled out at all.

In fact, this is how the tablet itself looked.

This is what the main application menu looks like. Note the huge shortcuts that hardly match the high definition I mentioned earlier.

And these are the settings of a fake tablet. Model N8000, android version and other indicators are the same, but where are the guarantees that these data are generally adequate?

This is how the back cover of the Samsung Galaxy Note N8000 64Gb tablet looks like.

And by the way, an acquaintance to whom I called in order to find out if he had come across such a fake, said that most often the inscription on the back cover was not made with paint, but simply pasted, so this moment can also be used as a check.

Considering that today on the Internet it was difficult for me to find at least some information about forgeries of this nature, I hope that few people have fallen for the bait of scammers and they will not get away with it.

In general, these are the things. Good luck to everyone and be careful.

If you were offered to buy a fake or, God forbid, you became a victim of these scammers and swindlers - tell your friends about it. Warn and protect your loved ones!

Law enforcement agencies are not interested in solving such problems, and judging by how actively the discussion is going on, it has already gained tremendous momentum.

Let everyone know about this chaos - this is quite logical and correct.

Back in 2013, Samsung managed to present a rather successful tablet Galaxy Note 10.1 Edition 2014. In addition to having a 10-inch screen, it also has stylus support and very attractive features.

And at the start in 2013, the Galaxy Note 10.1 2014 Edition received Android 4.3 Jelly Bean. He is currently running Android 4.4 and was waiting for Lollipop. But for a very long time, tablet owners waited and were almost disappointed. However, we have good news.

Samsung today began rolling out the Android 5.1.1 Lollipop update for the Galaxy Note 10.1 2014 Edition. Thanks to this, the tablet evolves a lot. But for now, an update is available for the Wi-Fi version of the tablet. The firmware is presented only in Spain, but you can install it without problems - there is a choice of language. Installation is done using Odin. Below you will find a link to download the firmware.

For those who have just become a beginner or are not an expert in the huge world of Android and are not particularly familiar with the concept of how - Root Android, and also why it is needed, what can be done after obtaining Root rights, or how to get rid of them later if they are no longer needed, all this can be found in the detailed article -!

Primarily!

There are no "left" links or unnecessary actions in this article! If you really need Root Rights, then read carefully and follow step by step, this is a guarantee that you will do everything right! This article on obtaining Root rights is divided into two parts: The first part is Required components and conditions, the second part is Instructions how to get root rights using the received files and programs. If, in the process of getting root rights, Android constantly reboots or in the process of eternal loading (it happens extremely rarely, but still), then it's worth it. Now let's get down to getting Root rights!

Android manufacturers sometimes release new firmware on which it is not possible to get Root using one of the proposed methods, if there are other alternative methods in the article, try them. Doesn't it work all the same? Indicate the Android version and the firmware version in the comments (do not write angry shit comments, you will not put yourself or others with this).
