Mobile commerce. Megafon mobile transfer service - how to connect, disconnect and use Products for mobile e-commerce banks

Evgenia Chistova, head of corporate social responsibility projects at VimpelCom, answers three questions about mobile fraud.

Q: What steps have been taken to increase the security of the mobile commerce service?

Answer: I would like to note that the entire history of Internet payments went through the stages of user testing and improvements. This is a natural process for the payments market as a whole. After analyzing this case, we took measures to reduce the likelihood of using such a scheme in the future. Firstly, in addition to the fact that we are already sending a warning to the subscriber about the importance of not disclosing the password, the SMS will emphasize that this is a password for payment. The password received in the SMS will contain the word "PAYMENT", which should make the subscriber wonder whether it is worth entering it on unverified resources. And second, by the end of the month the system will be improved in such a way that the password received in SMS will be one-time.

Question: What should a subscriber faced with a mobile fraud do?

Answer: If the subscriber believes that he has become a victim of fraudulent activities, then he can contact the law enforcement agencies in order to initiate a criminal case. At the request of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the operator will provide all the necessary information regarding how payments were made and to which numbers the funds were withdrawn from the account of the defrauded subscriber. In addition, it is necessary to write a statement to the Operator with a description of the situation, contact details and a request to return the funds. After the necessary verification, the fraudsters' numbers will be blocked and the issue of a refund will be considered. Claims and a description of the situation can be sent to e-mail. box [email protected]

Question: How does Beeline fight against mobile fraud?

Answer: Throughout 2010, we have made significant efforts to reverse the situation with mobile fraud. In particular, they introduced rather severe fines for content providers, comparable to the monthly revenue on a specific number, obliged CPA partners to conduct online monitoring of the services provided on the numbers, introduced the ability to block prefixes on short numbers, which made it possible to respond more quickly to the occurrence of incorrect services and fraudulent schemes. In addition, a free service "Black and White Lists" was launched, which allows you to create individual selective access to short numbers, including full blocking to them. Besides. services related to mobile funds transfer have been improved - their anti-fraud characteristics have been strengthened.
As a result, at the end of 2010, we recorded a 80% decrease in the number of complaints about fraud on CPA numbers.
Overall, the number of complaints about fraud received by our call center dropped from 210,000 in the first half of the year to 79,000 in the second half of the year. In 2009, about 450 thousand calls were recorded.
Recently, we mainly record complaints-informing that the subscriber is called / sent SMS from such a number. As a rule, the most common schemes, which are well covered in the press and on the operators' security sites, are getting less and less caught by subscribers.
We collect this data, after being checked by the security service and warning the subscriber from whose number such illegal actions are being carried out, the number is blocked.

Description

The process is carried out using pocket computers or smart phones via a remote (Internet, GPRS, etc.) connection. Mobile commerce, as a rule, is a software and hardware solution for automating the processes of interaction with remote users.

In 1998, the sale of digital content via mobile phones became possible when a commercial ringtone service was launched by the Finnish mobile operator Radionlinja.

A year later, Smart launched the national mobile payment platform Smart Money in the Philippines. Almost simultaneously, NTT DoCoMo launched the first mobile Internet platform in Japan, called i-Mode.

Directions of mobile commerce

Mobile payments (m-payments) means making a payment using a mobile phone using funds deposited in the prepaid accounts of a mobile operator. Mobile payments are made without using the user's bank accounts and are available to subscribers who do not have their own bank account.

  • Communal payments
  • Air and railway tickets

Benefits

  • convenience of payment
  • saving time (payment is made in just a few steps)

Mobile commerce today

The 29 largest cellular operators, which control half of the global market, have already teamed up to create a single format for using Near Field Communications (NFC) technology in cell phones. Mobile payment services based on NFC technology are especially popular in Japan, USA and UK.

To use the NFC service, you need to install a special module in the subscriber's phone. Thanks to the built-in chip, a wireless connection is made between the phone and the information reader terminal installed by the seller. As a result of connection, the amount is debited from the virtual account of the owner of the mobile phone. The subscriber can replenish the account using a bank card, POS terminal and self-service sensor machine. NFC technology provides solid customer identification reliability and a high level of payment security.

They are trying to keep up with world trends in Russia. The Ministry of Information Technologies and Communications approved the concept of creating a universal payment platform based on a cell phone. Since a SIM card is issued to a specific person under Russian law, it is, in the opinion of communications specialists, quite sufficient to identify the person who makes the payment. With the help of the new payment platform, it will be possible to do not only banking transactions, but also pay for travel on the subway, bus, train, car parking, buy a cup of coffee or a can of beer in vending machines. It will be enough to put your mobile phone to the turnstile or machine. To make payments using SMS and USSD technologies, you don't even need additional devices.

At the moment, the Russian operator Beeline is actively developing services based on NFC technology. At this stage, the operator implements transport applications: payment of fares in urban surface and underground transport. These services are in test mode.

Mobile commerce in Russia

In 2003, the Russian operator "Beeline" got SMS-informing services. The launch of this service was the first step in transforming the mobile phone not only into a communication tool, but also into a tool for controlling costs and payments for third-party services.

In 2005, it became possible to top up a mobile phone account from another subscriber's mobile phone account.

In 2007, it became possible to pay from a mobile phone account for services and goods of third parties.

In 2010, the Russian operator "Beeline" implemented the ability to withdraw money from a mobile phone account.

Today, four Russian operators provide mobile commerce services: Beeline (Mobile Payment), MTS, Megafon and Tele2. The maximum amount of payment in all cases is up to 15,000 rubles. Many micropayment aggregator companies provide an opportunity for widespread use of technology for processing payments in online stores.

In 2012, the Big Three operators expect a 2-fold increase in mobile commerce turnover, to 40 billion rubles. VimpelCom made a huge contribution to the development of mobile commerce. Today its RuRu payment system is successfully developing. The monthly growth of payments and unique users of mobile commerce is 10%. In less than a year, 5 million payments for mobile services were made through the system.

Today we will figure out what the Megafon Mobile Transfer service is, how to connect and disconnect it on your phone, if necessary, as well as how to use and send money to another phone from your account. A cell phone balance is not just money to pay for a cell phone. With the money on the phone account, you can help another subscriber, pay for the purchase on the Internet, send it to a bank card. Mobile payment provides such an opportunity.

Description of the service Mobile transfer Megafon

A Megafon subscriber, if desired, can send a certain amount of money from the balance to another cellular number, even one belonging to the network of another cellular operator. It is possible to send money to a bank card account, pay a fine, goods. All this is possible with the Mobile Transfer service activated.

The service is available to all subscribers who have personal funds on the balance sheet: individuals or users of corporate numbers with a dedicated personal budget.

The amount of funds available for payment does not include:

  • so-called bonus rubles - received when exchanging for points;
  • starting balance of the number upon connection;
  • various financial discounts and compensations shown on the balance sheet;
  • Credit limit for the option "Pay when it is convenient" and any other.

You can transfer money deposited into the account by yourself, or received by mobile payment from another subscriber.

The transferred amount can range from RUB 1 to RUB 15,000. at once. After making the transfer, the sender must have at least RUB 1 on the account. The maximum per day that can be sent from one number is 40,000 rubles.

How to connect

For all this to work, "Mobile Transfer" must be activated on your number. In most cases, it is included in the basic services provided by default free of charge. For the actual payment of money, a commission is taken, depending on the method and direction. The commission is added to the original amount, not deducted from it.

In general, you don't need to connect anything - just use any payment option that suits you. But what if it didn't work? Either you made some mistake, or this service was blocked for your cell phone. Why could this happen? Possible reasons for blocking the service: fraudulent activities, suspicion of financing terrorist activities, inconsistency of passport data.

If the service was disabled earlier, you can connect it back in the following ways:

  • Using USSD combination *105*220*0# + "Call";
  • SMS message with the text “ 1 " on 3311 .

All requests and messages to this number are free, like the service itself, the fee is taken only in the amount of the commission when making payments to another cell phone, bank card or other things that you top up from your Megafon account.

How to disable

The service can be blocked at the request of the subscriber or for security reasons. You can connect or disconnect a mobile transfer, check whether it works or not, in a communication store or through a self-service service *105# and also on the website lk.megafon.ruin your personal account.

Also, to disable this, you can call from your cell phone to 0500 or from any phone to 8-800-550-0500 and resolve the issue by talking to the operator. By the way, in the same way, by calling one of these numbers, you can connect this option or figure out why it does not work if you failed to complete the plan.

Also, you can quickly turn off the "Mobile Transfer" Megafon in one of these simple ways:

  • Using USSD combination *105*220# + "Call";
  • SMS message with the text “ 2 »To a short number 3311 .

Choose whichever you like best, use - disconnection, like all subsequent connections, is free, like all SMS and USSD commands.

How to send a mobile transfer

You need to know to which mobile operator the recipient's number belongs. The size of the commission charged will depend on this. The payment is more expensive for other telecom operators.

USSD-team

Dial the command on the keyboard of the device *133*<сумма>*<номер того, кому отправляете деньги># , eg: *133*40*9261234567#, press call. In response to the request, an SMS will be received from the number 117009434 with a request to confirm the sending of payment in the amount of 40 rubles. by entering the specified numeric code, for example numbers 2 ... The same message will indicate the final amount, taking into account the commission, which will be debited from the balance. This is a necessary precaution to avoid accidentally transferring money. The commission for this type of mobile transfer is 6% for a Megafon subscriber and 8.5% for subscribers of other networks.

Pressing the "answer" button and sending the confirmation code signifies agreement with the terms. The account will be debited from the account and credited to the recipient within a few minutes. In cases where the network is overloaded or there is a technical failure, the receipt of the mobile payment may occur later.

In this way, you can send up to 15,000 rubles at a time and no more than 40,000 rubles per day and per month, and you cannot transfer more money than you have in your account, and go into a minus or a credit limit - you can only use your own funds on the account.

By SMS

The easiest and most profitable way to transfer money from Megafon to any other number. It is carried out as follows: you need to dial an SMS with the text #100 , where 100 is the amount and send to the recipient like a regular message, indicating his number in the SMS address. Further actions are similar. Only the size of the commission differs - a transfer to a Megafon subscriber will cost 1%, to another operator 5%, but not less than 10 rubles.

Special feature of SMS-payment: the needy can send a request to receive payment by writing a message with the text: #100? The subscriber will receive a message from the number 117009434 with a proposal to make a payment in his favor by entering a confirmation code.

That is, with these methods, you can make a mobile transfer from Megafon to Megafon, as well as to Beeline, MTS, Tele2 and Yota - that is, any of our mobile operators, but if the commission within the network is small, only 1% of the amount, then other operators already five%. So think about whether it is worth replenishing someone else's account in this way or find more suitable options.

Second option: send an SMS message like <номер из 10 цифр> <сумма> on 8900 ... Example: "9209580632 100" - sending 100 rubles to 8-920-958-0632. The term of crediting may take several minutes, so do not rush to check after three seconds whether the money has come or not.

Money transfer to a bank card

If the above methods are only suitable for transferring money from the balance of one number to the balance of another, using a cash payment you can send money to bank card, to the Unistream service center. This type of mobile transfer is the most expensive of all.

Payment is made by sending SMS to the service number 8900

  1. Transfer to Unistream... In the text it is necessary to indicate the code, amount, name of the recipient, separated by a space, as in the passport. Send message to 8900 , wait for the control SMS and confirm it. Example: Unim 1000 Petrov Ivan VasilievichYou can get money at the Unistream point of issue. The commission is 7.35% and another 95 rubles. when sending an amount from 1 RUB to 4999. For a large amount - 7.35% and an additional 259 RUB.
  2. To transfer the amount to the account bank card, an SMS is written with the following content: card 2222555566669999 1000with your card code and amount, separated by spaces. The transfer arrives at the card within a period of several minutes to 5 days, depending on the bank. It should be borne in mind that not all banks allow accepting mobile payments. The commission is the same as for Unistream payments.
  3. To top up your account cell number of another subscriber in the SMS text, you need to dial the subscriber's number and the amount, separating them with a space. Example: 9250236548 200 Send text to 8900 With this transfer, you can top up the account for subscribers of Russian cellular networks and the CIS countries. 8.5% commission is charged.

Mobile commerce

By transferring from your phone account, you can pay for the purchase of games, goods and services. The principle remains the same: by entering his phone number in the payment form on the site, the subscriber receives a message offering to confirm the fact of sending money by sending a digital code.

If the payment failed

If the recipient's mobile number was specified during the mobile transfer and the money went to the wrong account, you can try to return it. To do this, you need to print a check on the website money.megafon.ru/history/details/723415233801 and contact a cellular salon or technical support. there you need to log into your money transfer system - for this you need a password, which can be obtained by entering your phone number in the appropriate field on the website following the link.

If the wrong number belongs to another operator, for example, Tele2, you only need to contact their cellular network. In case of an error in payment within the framework of mobile commerce, you need to contact a commodity and service company.
