Absolutely every router, be it an access point or a modem with Wi-Fi mode, has a small hole on the back of the case, which can be problematic to see on dark plastic. There is usually an inscription Reset next to it, although often there are no inscriptions at all. Be that as it may, it is this small hole that is used for the so-called "hard" reboot of the router. It is worth noting that the hole was made so small for a reason - if the device falls to the floor or a cat jumps on it, it will not reach the Reset button even if it wants to, which protects the settings from outside.

In order to get into the interface, you need to open any browser and register the following address: 192.168.0.1. Next, enter the username and password: admin / admin (most models use the same default data), they can be found in the user manual or on the bottom of the router. Once in the control panel, you can customize the gadget for your Internet, change passwords, etc.
By the way, you can reset the settings directly from the interface. Here you need to find the item "Factory settings" or Settings Reset (there may be other English words) if your system is in English. TP-Link TD of various modifications. For all models of this brand of routers, the configuration is the same. In addition, they all have a similar interface, which is presented below.

Why reset your router?

Hardware reset is performed using a special button on the device case.

ZyXEL. We go to 192.168.0.1 or 192.168.1.1, log in. On the left in the menu, go to the "System" item. Select "Configuration" from the expanded list. Hard reset
In addition to software reset, there is also a hardware reset. It implies a return to the factory parameters by using a special "Reset" button. It is most likely located behind the network device. To press on it, you will have to use a needle, paper clip or any other similar object, since it is in the recess. It is best to find the passport for the device and read there how to reset the settings in a hardware way. If this is not possible, you should use the general recommendations. Resetting the router settings in a hardware way looks like this:
- turn off the power and remove the plug from the outlet;
- turn on the router and wait for it to work in normal mode;
