Configuring Aimp

First of all, let's adjust the frequency of the sound by setting the parameters of the player's equalizer.

Usually, by default, all frequencies are average. This, of course, is to the taste of each individual user, some are satisfied with it, but I prefer to customize it for myself. Open the equalizer settings using the button in the upper left corner.

A menu will open, in it we activate the item "Load setting"

In the window that opens, you can choose from the proposed add-ons the one that you like (more precisely, by sound). I like Techno better. If you have music in this player at this moment, then you can immediately notice a change in the sound timbre, when the Aimp equalizer is turned on ("Off" / "On" button)

Set the position of the "On" button and close the equalizer.

After that, go to the Aimp settings menu by clicking the wrench icon in the title bar

In the window that opens, you will see a complete list of all possible player settings. Here, your taste and desire will help you customize all the parameters for yourself. I will just draw your attention to some of them. The settings can only be set once and used constantly. Select the item "Display settings", there we click on "Scaling" and use the slider to set the scale of the playlist display. Anyone else, but I like 120% more. In the lower part of the "Display settings" section, turn off the "Show the second line with information" and "Show grades" checkboxes.

Using these settings, you can achieve a larger display of the playlist, in addition, each melody will be written entirely in one line, and not in two.

After that, in the settings, select the item "System" -\u003e "Associations with files". You need to check the boxes "Audio files | Playlists | Covers ”to make the player play music files by default.

You can change the appearance of the audio player by selecting the cover you like in the section "Interface" -\u003e "Covers". There are several skins by default, but if you really want to, it's not hard to find on the Internet, download and add the cover you like to the player. To do this, press the "Browse" button and follow the instructions. In addition, you can change the color scheme of the skin by moving the slider in the appropriate section. Do not forget to apply all the selected settings and close this window.

This player has a renderer. It is shown in a small player window, but when double-clicked with the mouse expands to full screen. To add a visualization, open the context menu of the visualization window with the right mouse button and click on the "Render Mode" item. We choose to your taste or install from the Internet the visualization that suits you.

Aimp player rules

Well, now that all the parameters are configured according to your preferences, you can start using this wonderful player. There is nothing difficult here, even a beginner can easily master the rules for loading your favorite music into the player and the principles of navigation. To add music files to Aimp, in the main window of the program, press the button "+" located below, and select the item "Folders".

In the window that opens, specify the desired directory with music, mark it with a flag and press the "Ok" button.

In this case, the selected music will immediately appear in your playlist. In principle, you can download not only entire folders, but individual files of a suitable format or links from the Internet. You can even just drag the desired file into the playlist and the song will fill the list. Downloaded songs can be played by double clicking on them or using the Play button.

If the list of playable files is long, it is difficult to find the desired song right away. You can use the playlist search engine. At the bottom, in a special field, you need to enter the file name or the title of the song or the name of the author and the player will immediately display the matches found.

If you minimize the application, the audio player will not be completely hidden, but will take on a modest and inconspicuous appearance, where you can easily and simply operate it. The buttons start, stop, pause, next song, previous, volume control and others will remain available.
